Laguna Seca Golf Club
Laguna Seca Golf Club is a favorite destination for local and visiting golfers because it offers the well groomed amenities of a private facility at surprisingly modest daily fees. The golf course will make you use every club in your bag to conquer its ups and downs to well guarded greens, while elevated tees treat you to impressive vista of the Monterey-Salinas corridor. A relaxing clubhouse offers a resort-quality golf shop and casual dining.

Must play course in Monterey
We were shocked to discover this beautiful course after playing Pebble Beach in December. We love to play it again during our stay in Monterey and even driving back 1 and 1/2 hours from San Jose. My partner wants to make it a daily course because of the affordable green fees.
What a super course. Great day had by our three ball. Sunny, a little wind and hardly anyone in front or behind.
Millionaires golf at pauper price.
Was able to finish 18 holes in 41/2 hrs and was lucky there was no rain in Monterey and the fairways were in good shape along with the greens....Staff was friendly and helpful
Cold but sunny day
Went out solo and had a pleasant time. A couple was in front and slowed the pace a little fortunately let me play through at the back nine. 15th hole was challenging as always and sacrificed 2 golf balls to the golf gods...The tees seem to be a little rough that day. But the greens were good outside a few ones that seem to be experiencing the winter blues...Good times will be back.
The greens were being sanded the morning that we played, accounting for the very low price but the work on the greens was done quickly and very well so quality of play was still quite good. It's a beautiful course and nice to play.
Sunday mid day
I had fun playing today, which I think is the whole point of playing. The course is in better shape now than it was 6 months ago. The front staff service is below average, not friendly at all. Today the greens looked like cottage cheese and putting was frustrating. Food cart was there today which was awesome. Black horse down the road is a better deal, but this course closer to me.
Perfect November weather
The course was in very good condition. The greens were a little bumpy but I guess they had been punched recently.
Terrible customer service
Due to the poor service I received, I do not plan on playing this course again and will not recommend it to anyone.
We booked a 1345 tee time via Golf Now the day before. We paid at the course only to find that many children coached by parents were on practice rounds for a tournament the day after. The club should either have closed the course for external bookings and left the course to the juniors, or made clear to the parents that a reasonablle rate of play with no multiple shots from the same place allowed. we wited on every hole and only by pushing past could we finish in 4.5 hours. The clubs focus on revenue rather than customer satisfaction was apparent. Also and incidentally, the greens were very bobbly and in poor condition with multiple pitch marks. Very diappointing for what is basically a pleasant and enjoyable course.
Good value for the Peninsula
I hadn't played Laguna Seca since my college years 30+ years ago. It was just how I remembered it, fairly short but pretty and a fun layout in above average condition. If you are realistic and not expecting a Pebble or Spyglass type of course - it is a solid course that is fun to play.
Weather was incredible and the course conditions were great
A fun course to play.
The course is in pretty good shape. The greens are in good condition. Sand traps are a bit hard.
Sporty little course
One of the better bargains in the Monterey area, Laguna Seca offers more of a challenge than reading the score suggests. Many holes, while short, demand a strong drive in order to yield a look at the green for your approach. Most of the course is moderately hilly, and the term "target golf" definitely means something here.
Condition is decent. Fairways are a little dry, but not too bad for this time of year. Greens are excellent: fast but turfy, and they will hold a well-played shot. Bunkers are hit-and-miss: some are fine, while others are ratty and almost empty of sand.
All in all, a fun little course with more than enough challenge for a duffer like me.
This course has become one of my favorite courses. It’s a bit intimidating at first but it wins you over with the beautiful scenery and sometimes the sound of Moto gp. Be warned The 16th hole is a monster.
Did off at 10:30 had a great time foursome maybe had to wait less than two or three minutes on the first couple holes and that was it just rolled through the rest nice Fairways good greens all in all a great time at a great course
