Great conditions and value for money

Compared to the Orlando area courses, Deer Island is amazing, value for money at $75.
Course conditions good (would have given 5 ⭐️ but greens were a bit on the slow side.
Starter, course marshalls and bar staff were excellent.

Price is a bargain. The staff were very friendly. The course is in very good shape. Lots of water and sand, so misses will cost you. Layout is fair though. Greens were a little slow but in good shape. Saw a golden eagle, and a lot of alligators. I would definitely recommend playing this course.

Great time.

This was the first time playing this track. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The starter even had us off ahead of schedule which was nice. The course was in great shape and the greens putted true however a little slow. We saw lots of beautiful birds and a few alligators. I drove an hour to get there but it was worth the drive. I plan to play it again soon...

Great Experience

The course was in very good shape. Such a surprise to have grass in the fairways. We also saw lots of wildlife, i.e., birds and alligators. THe greens were in good shape and and overall, the experience was very good. Would definitely play again and would recommend it.
Our only suggestion would be to allow yourself plenty of time to get there as it is a 2 lane highway off a 27 and you can get stuck behind a slow vehicle.
