Bent Creek Golf Course
About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Previous day heavy rain caused soggy fairways
The fairways were in good condition however kind of soggy in lower spots thanks to heavy rain on previous day. Greens were pretty good overall but as always difficult to read breaks. Some tee areas were in below par condition with little grass. Course is very challenging with a variety of holes to test your entire game.
The greens were in really good shape. A few tee boxes could use a little more work, but overall a great course in great condition.
uhg
I used to be a member, they ruined the greens then doubled their price..I quit. But I also realized that i never really enjoyed myself and it takes forever to finish your round.
This time I started at about 12:45 and didn't get back to my car until after 5:30, and yes I couldn't wait to get out of there.
This course beats you up and because of it's creek, waste hazard areas, delays all the groups playing slow, looking for balls.
Favorite Course
We play this course more than any course in Jacksonville. We even play Spark golf here. It is a very tight course so I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner player or someone who doesn't have good control of their ball. It is our go-to course.
Great course for a great price
This course will definitely get you back into the game if you are looking for a fun course with a challenge. Greens are nice and playable same with the fairways can’t wait to play it again!!!
Worth every penny
First time playing here and would say it’s one of the better courses at this price!! Fairways were in good shape given the rain earlier in the week. The only down side was all the greens are sanded or being worked on. But for the price I’ll go back any day to play. Was a little shorter than expect but very technical so enjoyed playing more situation shot than pure distance.
Nice course
This course is a refreshing change compared to most courses in this area. Like the name suggests it's rolling hills so you get elevation changes. There is one par 5 that is very long and challenging.
Good Value
The course is in great condition and rates are very reasonable.
Overall great condition
The course is in great condition, greens were rolling smoothly and in great shape. Great value.
Not bad conditions considering last time I played
Tees need some work. Grass (rye?) needs to be cut. Made tees slippery even with cleats
The golf course sure is challenging and on a super busy day like New Years, rounds can get slightly behind. Member rates are consistent with prior years and are a great value based on other courses in the area. Hope to see you back one day.
