Never sat on the box
Even though course packed we never sat on the box
It’s a great time to play Windsor. The course is in great shape and the greens are rolling fast. Pace of play is the biggest issue 4+ hours Friday - Sunday.
Overall definitely recommend if you have the time.
Was excited to play windsor Parke! The pace of play was terrible! Every hole was jammed up with at least 3 groups on each hole. Only got through 4 holes before it started pouring on us! We called the clubhouse to confirm us receiving rain checks for the round but we were parked under a rain shed due to the weather. Once we were able to leave and drive to the clubhouse, the clubhouse was closed and didn’t get our rain checks!
Great course - SLOW play
Great course but the pace of play was horrible. Took over 5 hours. Won’t play this course again on a weekend if I can avoid it.
Windsor Parke Golf Club
Course was in great shape! Pace of play was good! Greens & fairways very nice for winter! All staff were very approachable & pleasant. Will definitely play Windsor Pare again.
Course is in the best shape I've ever seen it. Been playing here since 1995.
Greens are in great shape. Lots of water and challenging. I would play there again.
Pace of play
10:30 tee time on a Tuesday and the foursome in front of us took forever. The ranger never came one time to help pace of play with 3-4 2somes behind us. These guys were holding up EVERY single shot with no one in front of them. Course was nice tho, not worth $44 compared to other courses in town that are in the $30s
I just happend to live near by, but frequently by pass the course due to poor condition and croud. I love the course layout and challanges of water and well guarded green by bunckers. Green condition has improved over the years and still felt disappointed by many unrepar ball and spike marks. With the convenience of distance of travel and a reasonable price. I should play this course more often.
Good course. Great location. Like that they have an active marshal on the course. A starter that pays attention and cute cart girls. Let’s be honest, these are what we are looking for out on the links. Gonna play here again and again...
Windsor Parke is consistent. In the 10 or so times I've played the layout tee to green has been in adequate shape and the people have been friendly and accommodating. The greens are always slow, but consistently slow so there are no surprises. The holes and challenges are very good. If the conditions were "country club" vs "average municipal" this would be really wonderful. As it is, a fine course to get tot hit almost all the shots in your bag. I will play again, and again...
Love this course
This is a great course. I highly recommend playing this great Course out. I have always enjoyed playing at Windsor Parke and I will definitely be back again and again. Greens are in great shape, plenty of undulation, definitely a challenge for about any part of your game.
Rough Around The Edges
Pace of play was great but course wasn’t busy. Greens had a lot of grass and no bare spots but were slooooooow. Fairways were spotty but playable. Cart paths are old and the entire place feels old and dated. Probably only a matter of time before the course is closed and bought for development as it’s crammed into a commercial and residential area. Fine for a quick round but not impressed and likely won’t return anytime soon.
Excellent course, enjoyed it, good people to play with.
