Course is in the best shape I've ever seen it. Been playing here since 1995.
Nice Course
Greens are in great shape. Lots of water and challenging. I would play there again.
Pace of play
10:30 tee time on a Tuesday and the foursome in front of us took forever. The ranger never came one time to help pace of play with 3-4 2somes behind us. These guys were holding up EVERY single shot with no one in front of them. Course was nice tho, not worth $44 compared to other courses in town that are in the $30s
Convenience
I just happend to live near by, but frequently by pass the course due to poor condition and croud. I love the course layout and challanges of water and well guarded green by bunckers. Green condition has improved over the years and still felt disappointed by many unrepar ball and spike marks. With the convenience of distance of travel and a reasonable price. I should play this course more often.
Great Bang for Buck
I’m what you would call a beginner golfer but I really like this course because I wasn’t intimidated by it. It was also very well kept!
Fun Challenge
Good course. Great location. Like that they have an active marshal on the course. A starter that pays attention and cute cart girls. Let’s be honest, these are what we are looking for out on the links. Gonna play here again and again...
consistent
Windsor Parke is consistent. In the 10 or so times I've played the layout tee to green has been in adequate shape and the people have been friendly and accommodating. The greens are always slow, but consistently slow so there are no surprises. The holes and challenges are very good. If the conditions were "country club" vs "average municipal" this would be really wonderful. As it is, a fine course to get tot hit almost all the shots in your bag. I will play again, and again...
Love this course
This is a great course. I highly recommend playing this great Course out. I have always enjoyed playing at Windsor Parke and I will definitely be back again and again. Greens are in great shape, plenty of undulation, definitely a challenge for about any part of your game.
Rough Around The Edges
Pace of play was great but course wasn’t busy. Greens had a lot of grass and no bare spots but were slooooooow. Fairways were spotty but playable. Cart paths are old and the entire place feels old and dated. Probably only a matter of time before the course is closed and bought for development as it’s crammed into a commercial and residential area. Fine for a quick round but not impressed and likely won’t return anytime soon.
Andrew
Excellent course, enjoyed it, good people to play with.
Course is in best shape I have seen in several years.
Teed off as a threesome from senior tees at 10 am on a Tuesday morning and played in 3 hrs and 15 minutes without having to wait even once. Course is in best shape I have seen in a number of years. This is my go to course when I am in Jacksonville.
Be back soon
I very much enjoyed playing the golf course. The greens are rolling quick and consistent. Nice job.
The bunkers need some sand as it seems like there is some sort of grey dirt which packs down pretty good. Tee boxes also need some work as there are bare and sandy spots.
Cart service needs improvement as we saw the cart girl early in our round on the front nine and that was it.
Fairways in great shape, greens had pretty good pace but still coming back from last aeration. Only a few spots on the course were a little soggy. Overall a great experience with some challenging holes but always a fun place to play in Jax.
Fun course to play
I have always enjoyed the design of this course. It has some pretty challenging holes and some nice wide fairways banked by water. Greens were in great shape but tee boxes were a little sandy. Unfortunately there are ALOT of geese on the property. (Actually hit one while playing today on accident).
Clubhouse is below par but other than that a good place to play and centrally located in Jax.
