The course needs a lot of TLC... greens aren’t very smooth tee boxes need grass!
The course lay out is pretty nice at one time it looks like it was an amazing course thankfully is really cheap!
Do not play it. I’d rather watch Sevo win the league than play this course again. Nothing positive I can say. The best thing that happened us was the buggy wouldn’t stop so we drove about until I pulled the key out
If you play this course beware the greens. They are rock hard and will not hold on the fly.
Hit up to the green and let the ball roll on.
Fairways are ok, tee boxes need work. Staff very friendly. Worth a visit
Big Improvements at Kissimmee Bay
My wife and I visit Kissimmee twice a year for 2 weeks and we have been playing Kissimmee Bay for 30 years. A few years ago we wondered if Kissimmee Bay was going to survive as conditions were sub standard and the volume of play was down significantly.
This past year has seen significant improvements, especially the greens which have been all redone and are in superb condition. All the bunkers are being raked every day and irrigation is done daily. The only weak spot are the tee blocks on a few holes which are bare but they are reseeding and hopefully the tees will match the rest of the course.
This is a terrific layout, we particularly like the front 9 with great first and ninth par 5’s. We generally play in the off-season in April and November and later in the day, this last week we had 4 rounds as a 2-Some in 3 hours 20 minutes at a leisurely pace. Great value if you choose your times.
Congratulations to the new owners for their investment in Kissimmee Bay. It is tough having their companion club, Remington only a short distance away as there is only so much business in this area.
Fivesomes and sixsomes. On a Sunday, really!!!
What a day!!!! Played the front in 2 hours and five minutes and the back in two hours and forty five minutes. They let 11 players, who were non members, play in 2 groups. Four groups on every hole on the back.
Then, go into the bar after the round, where there are at least sixty people in the area. Order a beer and ask for a menu. Sorry, the kitchen closes at four. It was four thirty. Seriously!!!
Okay, onto washing my face and hands, as it was pretty warm. But wait, no paper towels.
At least the greens were good. Without them. Zero stars. Place is a horror show
Played this course on the recommendation of a friend. The course was in very good shape with the exception of a few bare tee boxes which I was told that they were working on fixing. The greens were hard and fast and the ball rolled true. I played there with my son and we were matched with a couple of local players to fill the foursome. Our round took 4.5 hrs to play and the rangers were very visible to insure good pace of play. The staff was very friendly and interested in our enjoying their course, from the pro shop to the club house to even the cart person. I started my Florida vacation with a wonderful experience at Kissimmee Bay and will play there whenever I visit the area and bring my clubs.
I always get emails to play the course finally I found a good deal on GolfNow for $25,it was well worth it,we would’ve paid $40 or $50. The staff was friendly, the course was in great shape and the greens were very true. Excellent day for all of us.
Challenging holes. Greens very good & well kept. Really enjoyed playing this course.
Kissimmee Bay golf course is ok
Play was slow at times because of a group of six ahead of us.
Great course except
This is a really fun and challenging course. The different hole layouts really were strong in variety. As most have said, the only downturn is the tee boxes. If they would invest to level them up better, this would be a fantastic course option to add to an orlando rotation.
I will definitely play it again. Even with GOlflogix on my phone, now that I have seen the course, lots of insights to better manage my game
Great traditional layout. Greens were fast. Fairways were dry causing the ball to take some strange bounces. Bunkers need work. Worth the play.
Overall a good experience, just a couple of bumps. Upon arrival, we had a nice young man grab our clubs and load them onto a cart that was delivered to us (nice touch). The check in process was smooth but the starter seemed a little angry and was not very accommodating. The fairways need work but the greens were in beautiful condition. Overall a decent day.
Gray course but needs TLC
This is a very mature and nice course with plenty of changes on every hole. It’s not as well taken care off as it should. Many tee boxes are bare, all bunkers need sand as currently they are like cement. Having rakes on the golf cart means players forget to bring them and won’t rake. Greens rolled well. Overall a true challenge for all golfers due to all holes being different. Worth playing for under $35.00.
Nice round today
Had a great time playing here today. Tee boxes and sand traps need a little TLC, however Ala in all it was good.
The Greens make it worth it!
With all of the choices in the area, this course, I'm sure does not make a lot of musta to play. Still, this course was definitely worth playing! A bit older of a course, but a decent layout and there was no one on the course but the twosome I was paired with, who turned out to be fellow New Englanders.
The only issue I had with the course is that some tee boxes were rough, bit the greens more than made up for them. The greens were in great shape and the staff said they will only get better.
When you're in Orlando, play the resort courses of course, but go see Kissimmee Bay for a second 18 and you'll be happy you did!
We would recommend this course to friends but yesterday the pace of play was at a snail’s pace!
We left after the 13th hole as we waited on every hole from hole 2. Most unpleasant!
