So many better options in area
Just OK for a price that leads you to expect more. The service, facilities and on course refreshments were great. But the course layout is somewhat average and sometimes boring. The condition was below average. The greens were fine, but a little slow. The fairways and rough were not only less than what you would expect from Four Seasons, but also inferior to most of the courses in the area that charge $50, instead of $185. I suppose the best part was that it wasn't crowded. I guess I was one of the few suckers.
" A Gem"
playing this course was our highlight of our trip! The course was immaculate and the greens were fast and true. The Staff is "Awesome" . Great layout and we even had a chance to see Michael Breed from the Golf Channel doing a clinic for his show! We played the course from the tips which was more than challenging for us.
Thanks jbfgolf for choosing to play at Tranquilo. We are happy to hear you had a great day.

nice resort style course close to disney
when you start on the range with leather bags filled with ProV1s, you know you're in for a treat! fairly flat, so easy to walk if you choose to, the variety of holes is nice, but the conditions set it apart (and for the price, you should expect to have great conditions).
the greens rolls quick and true, so trust the line and watch the ball continue to roll nicely.
the restaurant is worth it, so if you're planning to play 36, lunch is a nice rest between rounds (they do have a mean cuban!)
staff is very courteous and cordial.
Tranquilo
I had a great time at the facility. The entire experience from when I arrived, to when I left was first class. I was impressed with pro-v1 range balls and the condition of the golf course from tee to green. I will visit this course again when I return to Orlando later this spring.
Thanks David8353805 for choosing to play at Tranquilo. Glad to hear you had a great day.

Liked this!
I liked this course, got there early, excellent staff. Hit some balls then went out solo, caught a group and played through. Finished in just over two hours, went out and played another 18! Simple layout but very enjoyable. Excellent greens! Trued a number of putts. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great time
Although the weather wasn't ideal, the course and staff made for a great day at Tranquilo. The course was in excellent condition, and was as challenging as it was beautiful. The complimentary apples and oranges were also a pleasant surprise.
Not Worth The Extra $$
We live in the Orlando and have the opportunity to play several top quality courses in the area. Most of the courses rates are competitive with each other except for Tranquilo which charges at least 3 times the rate of the other top quality courses. Despite this we thought we'd splurge and play Tranquilo for the holidays. We paid $140 per player on golf now. We expected a superior course since it was a four seasons property and charged such high fees. Well this was not the case. We were extremely disappointed with the condition of the course . The greens were in horrible condition and even had sand and bald spots on them. The fairways we're also in poor condition. We can attest that The Grand Cypress along with several other top courses close by Tranquilo charge less then half of what we paid and are in a hundred percent better shape. Do not waste your money there.
Thank you dabbroyal for choosing to play Tranquilo. We value our customers feedback and apologize that we did not meet your expectations. I will reach out to you personally to discuss your experience in more detail.
Thank you again for your feedback.

Hurry before it becomes private
We absolutely loved this course. It is a bit pricey but we found a great deal which made it well worth it. The course was in excellent shape and a very nice design. We were told that they hope to go private in the next couple years.
Worth The Price
From the moment you pull in until you leave you are treated like a member. Staff was excellent. The course itself? There is a reason it is called Tranquilo. Beautiful surroundings...excellent conditions...very peaceful and quiet setting. The course itself was challenging...but fair. A lot of character to the layout with plenty of room on most holes to hit it in the fairway. Par 3's were some of the best...and long too. The greens were huge with a lot of undulation...and very fast so hit it close...lol. I'll be back in January to play again with my sons.
Pricey but a Great Course
Course was in great condition , and scenic . Staff was great.
As long as your budget allows , I would give this course a try . Pace of play was excellent!
Both my husband ( much better golfer than me) and I found the course challenging , interesting and enjoyable
Very nice resort course
The old Disney Osprey Ridge, given a (minor) redesign and updating in 2014 for Four Seasons. Staff are very friendly, and didn't treat me like a second-class citizen for booking thru Golfnow the way some of the tonier courses do; it's scenic and with minimal housing on the course (a rarity in the Orlando area). Why do I subtract a star? With the exception of the closing hole (a long par 3 over water, with the Four Seasons hotel in the background) I didn't find the course to contain many memorable, challenging holes. It's the classic resort course- well-maintained, pretty, designed for the average golfer who wants to have a good time on vacation and score reasonably well without losing too many balls along the way. If that's what you're after and you're willing to splurge, Tranquilo is for you.
Beautiful - as expected at a Four Seasons
Pricey - as you would expect. But you get what you pay for. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Carts are new. Range included - titelist balls. Coffee or Tea on arrival. Bottles of water in coolers on cart. Cold towels at finish.
Course was in nice shape - some of greens had little patches of problem areas.
Course is not easy - but certainly manageable for most golfers.
Some water.
Saw several deer on or near the course.
5 Stars
We travel every year to Orlando for a weeks worth of golf and put Tranquilo on the agenda this year for the first time. Could not have been a better experience from the moment we pulled up to the clubhouse. From that point on we were treated as if we were country club members and the course was in fantastic shape. I often look at reviews to try and add courses to our trip every year and for those of you who do the same, this is one track you have to put on the list. Our group ranks this course top of the list FAR ahead of similar $ tracks such as Grande Cypress, Ritz Carlton, and the Waldorf Astoria. This will be a permanent fixture on our trip from here out.
Good course but not worth the top dollar they charge.
I played this local course with a friend of mine who is a scratch player recently and came away with both good and bad memories.
First the good - the course was empty - I like playing fast so that was a big plus, the practice facility was empty - I hit balls by myself on the range for 30 minutes before and after the round, and we teed off at around 11 am. The Pro V 1's on the range were a treat and the practice green was impeccable although a little slow for me and considering this is suppose to be private with little of no play right now. Overall the property is lovely the staff is friendly and the restaurant was very good.
Now the bad - when I play a course which charges over $150 I was expecting something spectacular in terms of course conditioning, layout, or other course specific characteristic which sets this course apart from the rest and makes you tingle with excitement on many of the holes. But instead, I found the layout average with many holes feeling the same as a previous holes, with wide open fairways and greens which were simply boring. I was surprised by this as it is a Fazio layout which is usually above average or better! Green speed as I said earlier was average at best on top of it. So there was really nothing to keep my excitement level while playing and after seeing the practice facilities and all, I was just expecting more. Then to end the 18 holes on a par 3 was just another let down to a long boring day on the course. Now dont get me wrong, for the average public course in orlando, I would say this ranks close or a little behind to the Waldorf and Ritz and Bay Hill for the price they are getting there I would rather play at the other course mentioned above.

Best amenities on a golf course, ever
This is the old Disney Osprey Ridge, re-done by Four Seasons. First class all the way, valet parking, coolers, water bottles, fresh fruit at 3 places on the course. Cold towel on a tray after you finish.
The course itself is still a little sparse in the fairways due to the re-work on all the greens and traps. This will be an absolute gem in a few more months. Traps contain sand similar to that on the tour, were the easiest traps to play out of in my experience.
Play this if you can, particularly if you snag a hot deal price ($35). You will not be disappointed.
Great staff
Course coming back from fairway punch.
Great staff and practice facility.
Greens are smooth and quick!!
Soroka
We got a good deal on round, was told on driving range AFTER paying and no notification prior that "a little choppy on back nine". Well its a lot more than that, in fact the greens Keeping crew destroyed must of the fairways on back nice. every inch was mostly sand filled fairways. shot a 37 on front and 43 on back if that gives you any idea the level of damage. Avoid until maybe another month so. Call to confirm condition. PS: when they ask you at end of your round "how was it out there today?" they really dont care. Not empowered to do anything. food at club house was fantastic and saved the day.
WET and SOGGY
Great Course - - Not Responsible For All Of The Recent Summer Rains - - Definitely Recommend Playing Here When Dryer Conditions Prevail
A hidden gem
Well worth the drive over there. Nice staff and first class facilities! Highly recommend this track. Played the whites and shot 77.
A great find....thank you golf now
a pleasure to play a top course and to be treated so warm and friendly..fast greens but true...can't wait to plat it when fairways are grown in full..thank you.. Lots of wild life..deer,,,turkeys....
Thanks Ray8697581 for choosing to play at Tranquilo. I am glad to read that you enjoyed the service, facilities and on course refreshments, however, I am sorry we did not meet your expectations for course conditions. Please contact me directly so we discuss this in more detail.
