Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Nice layout, friendly staff and good price
Tees and fairways need a little work but still very playable
Worth the fee
Will return again
Nice and enjoying round
A few par 5s and par 4s are really challenging with severe doglegs. Overall it was a fun round and really pleasant.
Nice Day
The course was in good condition. They have really worked on the greens. They were smooth and relatively fast
The one gripe was the pace of play. The groups ahead were slower than they should be, and looked to be taking too many practice swings. They also hit numerous "2nd Putts" after missing the originals. The group directly ahead also did not keep their carts in the right places around the greens. Frequent parking next to the green or on slopes near the green instead of cart path. None of the threesome appeared to have walking issues.
Did not see a ranger the whole round, but maybe that is not unusual as it was a weekday. Did see the cart girl several times.
Other than the annoyances above, it was a "Nice Day"
Good course, bad weather
Played the course on a cold windy day after several periods of rain. The course conditions weren’t too bad considering the weather the past weeks.
Pro shop gentleman was friendly and efficient. It wasn’t crowded because of the weather so we headed right to the first tee after a quick bucket of balls at the aqua range.
After the round, we had lunch at the clubhouse. The food was good but service seemed a bit slow because the place was packed with football fans watching the game. It was probably a fun place to be if you cared about the game.
Typically a great course
I've played this course about 8 times in the past 3 months. Typically I pretty good experience but always a hold up. Twosome behind us made "multiple calls to the office about slow play" but never rolled up on us. Skipped a hole and slowed the next three groups down to a standstill for the rest of the day. Staff, who are typically great, handled it poorly.
Play typically feels hurry up and wait. Rushed to get to the next hole and wait 20 minutes for the group in front. I typically skip 1-2 holes to try to get a head of the crowd.
Not sure I'll go back.
Course needs work
The course needs some work, especially fairways and sand traps. Hit off fairways is like hitting off hard ground with no grass. Greens are in good shape. Traps need to be raked each day.
Heritage Harbor Lutz
The course is in good shape for this time of year
The greens were a bit quick but in good condition
Heritage Harbor GOLF
if you haven't tried this course, you must!! it's one of the best public courses in the area.
Course needs some work!
Course is decent! Fairways very dry with no ball support, meaning no grass to hold ball up. Tee boxes a little beat up and sand traps need racking. Greens pretty good! Golf carts good! Price decent! Good layout! I know water is a problem for fairways and has been for a number of years.
