Good value
Some long holes and wide forgiving fairways. Some greens good do with some work. Overall good value for money
Greens were a little better
Greens were better but course needs attention. Good course to bring a beginner.
Decent Track - poor greens
I enjoyed the pace of play but the Tee boxes and Greens are being overtaken by weeds. Please take care of this asset.
Good course
Well laid out course with wide fairways. Greens not in very good shape but still a fun round of golf.
Great value for a full course
Greens could be better but for the money it's about the same as an executive course. If you're a single handicap looking for plush fast greens move on. But, if you want a decent course without breaking the bank it's worth visiting. We enjoyed the scenery and the overall experience enough that we will go again soon.
Improvement
First off . . . so you won't think I work for the course. . .the reason I rated the course "EXCELLENT" in the "Value For The Money" checklist was because I made the tee time via GOLFNOW.COM. I used the HOT DEALS option, so only paid $5.35!
But for those of you who have played the course over the last few years, you know the conditions on almost all parts of the course have been far been far below average, especially the greens!
I'm not going to tell golfers new to the course the greens are pretty good, but (from what they've been like over the past few years) they have improved considerably.
If I see another HOT DEAL for under $20, I will be back!
Golf review
The course is in better shape than last year. It appears that an effort is being made to bring this course back. Really
Like the course layout a lot.
sabal trace
Very heavy rain derailed our game. Cannot really review course as we were unable to complete 18 holes.
Very poor condition
Course is one of the worst I have ever played. Fairways almost non existent, greens where not bare would send the ball bouncing towards the cup. After three holes the # 4 hole had a back up of three foursomes and not a ranger in site. Bath rooms in the club house were dirty and had not been attended to in some time. Then the rains began, upon returning to obtain rain checks after 5 holes there was a long line attempting to get rain checks. This appeared to not be going well. Knowing that I would never return I left.
terrible greens
course is way over valued greens are terrible nothing like playing in ohio
Greens need considerable work to merit any real positive comments.
Golf Now single player price was a good rate for the course. The layout is quite good. The only drawback is the turf conditions are poor, especially the greens. It is still a good place to start if you are from the north and want a sort of practice round to test for ball flight accuracy at sea level. The greens do not prepare you for anything you will experience at nearby courses. By all means check out Golf Now.
Over. Booked
This course over book we only got 9 hole in it took 3.5 hour an pro shop close by 6:00
Great value!
Slowing making improvements and it shows. Great layout and challenging enough. Will play again and again.
Severely overbooked
Overbooked. Paid for18 holes. Only able to play 9 due to slow pace of play and starting 1/2 hour late. Very disappointing
Terrible Conditions
I don't want to be harsh but this course is not one that I would want to play again. We have tried at least 4 times but each time is worse than the last. The pace is painfully slow and I have never seen a ranger on the course trying to move people along. The greens are very bad and the fairways have many spots with little or no grass of any kind. The clubhouse was closed long before the last golfer left the course and not even a restroom available for those who finished at dusk. There is not always a starter either so it seems that there is no one available to make sure people are teeing off at their scheduled time. There is no excuse for a round of 18 holes to take 6 hours. I would not recommend this course to anyone.
Poor Quality-the expereience and the Course
Waited 15 minutes for a cart. Teed of 35 minutes late. T Blocks 2 through 6- 4 carts aheadv of us when we arrived. Brutally slow because they overbooked. Too dark to play after the 11th.
Slow play
The course is easy to play
Had tee off time could only start 30 min later, to crowdy. It took more then 3 hours for the first 9 holes!! Getting to dark to play second nine.
Wenn we came in clubouse was closed
Payed there 3 times was slow play every time but last time was worst.
