Great Course
The course was in pretty good shape even though it had rained every dayday the week before. Was cart path only, but not soggy wet. Even though it was raining off and on, still enjoyable. Got called off once because of approaching lightening. Good to see they are paying attention. Heard an unsubstantiated rumor that Marriott has sold the course and it is going to be closed and apartments will be built on the property. Hope not, would be a great waste. one of my favorite courses
Great course definitely reccomended
Played 18 holes at this course recently, i'd booked through golf now with ease as usual and no complaints through this process. Only complaint was I'd booked a single tee as I was playing alone and ended up paired up as part of a Foursome. Now this is a common practice I know but given my play was slightly faster I ended up having a rather long round of golf. Not great if your in a hurry but other than that a great and challenging course to play and the condition of the course was great considering the wet weather the area had. A few holes were cart path only for the buggies but no complaints against the course. GPS on the buggies was also great.
Always in good condition
Despite the rain and the cart path only restriction the course played well. Good greens and testing holes make this course a good challenge for all standards of golfers. We always enjoy playing here.
Very nice golf course
I was down here on vacation and was trying something nice and close to the resort. This course was not only reasonable but very nice and well maintained. I didn't bring my personal clubs, so I was a little apprehensive about rentals, but to my pleasant surprise they had the Taylormade speed blade irons. The only negative would be that because of all the rain from the last several days it was cart path only, however we were still able to finish in 3.5 hours. Definitely recommend the course.
Play it while you can
Sadly the course is closing March 2015, so play it while you can. This is one of my favorite courses in the Orlando area. It is challenging, but not overwhelming. There are lots of bunkers, especially around the greens. The greens are undulating, but not so fast as to make putting impossible. Conditions are always excellent.
Convenient, affordable, quality track
It's a shame this course will be destroyed just to build more time-share condos! Except for the fairways being recently aerated , the course was really good. A little more challenging than most resort courses and fun to play.
A Grande Day Out
Booked through golf now and tempted by the excellent offer of $23. Very efficient and friendly staff . No sooner had I checked in at the front my GPS cart with bag was loaded up at the back. Booked as a single player but hooked up with Randy from Arkansas and later Dennis from Florida. Had a great time and the course is well set up. Need to play smart on a lot of holes and plan your way around. Allow some time to loosen up and hit a few practice balls first and enjoy the challenge. We played off the gold tees which made for a good challenge. Greens are tricky but a bit slow when we played - that's our excuse for not reaching the hole enough! Only slight negative is the signage could be more prominent to get to the course. Would definitely play this course again for sure. Scored 90 but left too many putts short. Have some unfinished business on this course!
Great course.....play while you still can.
Nice and sunny, but humid.
The resort in the background is Marriott Cypress Harbour.

This course happens to be right attached to the resort we are staying. Took the late afternoon time to play a quite round. Just managed to finish before dark even starting at 4.00pm in mid. Sept.
A good course to play
Course has nice layout, good challenge from the back tees and pretty open for a course with so many hazard features. We were a twosome behind a couple of foursomes so the pace was very slow but the conditions were very good. The course had a lot of rain before we played and drained better than I expected. A nice and fun course to play, but given the area, there are definitely superior ones right down the street....
Great value
First time playing this course. The back nine was aerated as were the greens. The greens were great as there was very little sand remaining and they rolled fast and true. Played the green tees at 6700 and it was fair.
Grand Pines is Fantastic
I have always wanted to play Grand Pines, this trip to Florida we did and it was everything that you can ask for in a good facility/course. This will close in March of 2015 for development of condo's
Staff is very friendly!
Played on a very hot day. Staff was great. Course was wet but cart path only rule was fine. Woman in bar area was friendly and gave us great service. I play here every time I am in Orlando.
Birthday Round
Took some time out at the last minute to play a quick round, and that is what I did. Played solo, and finished in just over two hours. The course was in excellent shape and for $19 I felt like I was stealing. Everyone was very courteous and I plan on playing here again very soon.
Beautiful course
This course is one of the most visibly pleasing courses to play in Orlando. It is also on of the most fun as well. I am very saddened to hear that they are planning on closing it early next year to develop a housing project. I really wish there was a way to save this gem!
Golf Course Snob
I am a golf course snob and I thoroughly enjoyed this course!
Great looking course
The course is in great shape. The greens are very challenging the pin placements didn't help. Overall a very nice course. The one thing I didn't like and was very offended about was the ranger that road around. He told us we needed to speed up yet we were 15 minutes ahead of the course average. I have never been rushed to play a course before and probably will not be back for this one fact.
Great course!
This is one of the best conditioned courses in Orlando! Great greens, manicured exceptionally well. Great fairways! Excellent value!
what a pity this course will close soon!
Played Grande pines several times during my stay. I like this course. Good quality, well maintained, staff is kind. Unfortunately I have been told it will close for good in March 2015. You should play it before. Nice experience.
Short and Tough
This is a tight course! Tips and green tee will make it a long day. Plenty of tree trouble if you miss the fairway. Bunkers are deep and plenty. Greens are elevated and you need to hit the right area!!!
Grand Pines
This course was recommended by my coach and it did not disappoint.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They were very cognizant of the heat and provided "cold" towels and lots of ice.
Would definitely return.
