Our Home Course
Twin Rivers is a nice course to play, it can be very challenging if fairways are missed.
We have had a lot of rain in Central Florida and the course was wet in many areas .
Greens a bit slow consistent with rain, some standing water in sand traps. Overall you cannot go wrong golfing here, friendly atmosphere and good golf
Tee time was $49 through golf now - their individual website says lunch included in times prior to noon. We got there and were charged an extra $5 for lunch that they claim is included. Our tee time was at 10:30, but not only did they not have enough carts for social distancing, they do not have enough carts period. We were delayed 30 minutes waiting on golf carts. The lack of golf cart also forced my pregnant wife to walk to the back of the property for the driving range. Once we were (finally) out playing golf, the conditions were not good. The course does NOT hold water well and the greens were in rough shape. No where near worth charging $50 for a round of golf - PLAY ELSEWHERE
I’ve played here many times and the condition has always been just alright, but today, today is the worst I have ever seen it before. Mud puddles on basically every hole, the rough was just horrible and the tee boxes were in bad shape. The only decent thing were the greens. Our cart probably got stuck in the mud about 5-8 times. Never going back here again.
Just a great place!
Extremely wet this time of year, but still awesome.
Picked a bad day
Course drains poorly..too wet all over..because it was so soggy, im guessing they couldnt mow the greens and they were about 4 on the stimp. Too slow...lots of weeds...well , it was a public golf course but not worth more than $25 in summer. They charged $50 With tax. Not coming back
They had just aerated the greens on Monday and Tuesday if I would’ve known that I wouldn’t have booked my teatime to play there. A lot of sitting water all around the course. Does not drain very well. Good layout just need some work
Very wet and muddy around the course. Plan on going back when it is a bit drier. The greens could use some work but overall not bad
Soggy from all the rain but OK if you pay attention where you drive the cart. Greens not pretty but rolled well.
Very friendly and beautiful surroundings!
Love this course! The staff is very friendly and the coarse is fun! Lots of wildlife and it feels like you are in a nature preserve! Will definitely recommend to friends!
This course used to be my favorite
This course used to be one of my favorite, it is close to where I live and it is a very good golf course. However, they ignore social distance and up change $ to get your own cart. Last time I played, it was a around late afternoon. The course wasn’t so busy, and just got changed for a rider fees amount 18$. I think, It is an overprice charged.
Twin Rivers Great shape
Course is in great shape . Greens are beautiful but slow. Liked that they put the holes in sections of the greens I have seen before and I have played there a bunch. Testament to how great the greens are right now!
Too. Many. Kids!!
Twin Rivers is a nice course and I use to play it frequently when I lived in the Carrillon community a few years ago. Had a 9:30am tee time today and while warming up with a bucket of balls, had to navigate around a loud and active summer camp?? group of kids on the range next to me. While I support youth programs, I also believe in course etiquette which was not displayed by this group or the counselors yelling back at them. Although there was a starter on the first tee, pace of play was erratic and we had to play through two different pairs (both with young kids again) and never saw another staff member until we hit the clubhouse after 9 holes. While walking to the restroom, again...kids running around the hallways and at the grill (none of which were wearing the mandated masks). While waiting in the restroom, two young girls entered and I asked them why they were not required to wear masks and they replied they don't have to wear them while they're outside and just shrugged. Being an immuno-compromised person, I was disappointed that this rule was not adhered to in their clubhouse.
The back 9 was a little better and the pace picked up.
I would have appreciated a "disclosure" of some kind to let me know of the kid crowd/camp.
The last time I played this course, the round went almost 5 hours because of slow play and no rangers present to monitor the pace. Thought I would try them again as it was mid week and a great deal through Group Golfer, but it definitely was not worth it. Will not be golfing here again.
The course was nothing but a big swamp. Play should never have been allowed on a course this wet. Water/swamps everywhere. Everything was very wet except the greens. Even tee boxes were bad. Fairways where 80% swamp. Worse conditions I have ever played!
