Course overall in good shape. Traps appear to have new sand. Greens rolling well. Pace of play slow despite ranger’s efforts to create foursomes. Staff friendly, especially the restaurant. Course plays tough as fairways are crested and tend to roll off left or right (probably for drainage) and greens are elevated and roll off in every direction. But overall a good challenge at a fair price.
Beware of Large Gators, Course in good shape
I've played this course off and on for several years now and this is the first time I've ever seen any gators on the course. A 12 footer was walking on the #6 fairway about 30 feet from my second shot. A bigger one was noted by the bank of the pond on 16. He move in and swam away slowly. Better keep an eye on these guys and move them if they become too accustomed to people. The course was is pretty good shape. Greens getting quite a bit of duck week growing and need to be addressed. Tee boxes fair. More watering stations have been placed around the course to help folks stay hydrated. It's very obvious this course is being taken care of; from the areas being repaired to the Ranger who makes frequent rounds to keep an eye on play and remind and alert groups to cart path only holes after the heavy rain we had early this day. The cart girl made the rounds and we saw her three times. Play was average; 4 hours to get through 18, being slowed up by a foursome in front of us. Carts in good shape and plenty of sand for fairway divot repairs. Club staff are friendly and it's a nice to see this course improving.
Nice course. Nice staff. Pace of play was slow. But the course was very full. I'll be back.
Excellent course and friendly staff. Course layout and conditions were excellent! Recommend to anyone! Enjoy!
Ekana on Comeback Trail
Course in pretty good shape, good greens, white sand in bunkers, and big recovery from a few years ago . Its still a tough test, especially #17 is one tough par5 (although I was lucky enough to 5), but some holes are really tight from the T (or 2nd shot), like #9, 14, 17 & 18, Golf Shop staff, starter & cart girl were very pleasant to us (cheaper) Golf Now Hot Deals players, and pace-of-play was on the slow side; but this was a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
Good Layout but Needs work
Twin Rivers needs some work but for the money it was fine. Fairways need some work The staff was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the speed of play took 3.5 hrs to play
4 Guys from Scotland
We booked this course on the assumption of what the heck its only 20 dollars ,really surprised by the condition of the course great condition ,great staff and good food and drink, would recommend to anyone to play here.
Way to start out the week
Kim was extremely friendly and very nice to get our round off quick and easy! He is a great asset for your club. Course was in great shape from the tee boxes to fairways, greens were smooth and challenging. Can't wait to enjoy my next round at Twin Rivers!!!!
Golf course was in great shape. A challenging layout, but enjoyable. Bunkers and greens are in fantastic condition!
Good shape...little things lacking
Course was in good shape. A few little things made this a good not great experience. It was 85 degrees out and there was zero water available. Lots of stations but none with actual water. They all had cups but no water.
Also practice green was significantly faster than actual course greens. Makes it hard to get a good when this happens.
Crowded course not worth the drive from Orlando
Arrived early, there were five group of people waiting for power carts. We got our cart about 15 minutes after our tee time. Course overbooked as we need to wait at almost every tee; 5.5 hour round on a Monday was no fun. A very tight cluster with good fairways and greens. Not worth the drive from Orlando.
Well maintained, challenging course
First time, played as a single and fortunately matched with three lads who play the course regularly. Helpful to know the preferred plays, several tight fairways. Well maintained sand traps , greens fast and challenging. Good outing.
Tougher Than It Appears
Playing with some locals helped us navigate thru some blind holes and made for a very imaginative day. Lots of doglegs and sand traps around practically every green. Course in good shape although greens were a little slow. Good course deserves a good review. Pro shop very receptive. Well done!
