Wentworth Hills Golf Club in Plainville, Mass. covers a scenic landscape that ranges from densely wooded hills to open, grassy meadows. The greens vary in size and shape from hole to hole, reflecting the diversity of the terrain. They were also carefully shaped and angled to make the approaches especially challenging. More than 60 bunkers are strategically placed throughout the golf course and water hazards come into play on several holes. The eighth and 17th holes are challenging twin par 3s that share a large lake. They present golfers with the decision to either go for the green or play it safe, but the latter will be met with a much trickier shot if you want to make par. Wentworth Hills G.C. is tough but four different tee boxes make the course approachable for every skill level.

Great value friendly atmosphere. Good conditions
Excellant value course has a variety of holes that require assortment of shots. Greens in good shape and very inviting from recent rains. Happy that fairways drainage excellant as well
Risk/reward at this well maintained target course
Not the longest course, but definately a challenge from any teebox. You may be tempted to pull driver on some of the short par 4's on the back..but playing it safe may be the smarter play with hazards and bunkers protecting the greens.
The course was in excellant condition and the staff is really woman friendly.
Decent course for money, some drawbacks
Course was in great condition for early fall.
Rangers were a bit cumbersome to deal with since they told our group to speed up when there wasn't anything we could do to speed up. When a group of 3 behind you includes 2 women hitting from the forward tees, it will seem like they are always waiting. We waited on most holes as well so course management could be handled better.
No driving range was unfortunate as well.
Great Course
Wentworth Hills is always in great shape. The back nine had greens that needed one more week of growth to make them as nice as the front. Compliments to the staff.
Horrible Greens and over booked
Me and my friend were quite dis-appointed - we stood at every hole for 15 minutes and eventually got exasperated and left after playing around 13 holes. The greens were in bad shape (huge patches of brown) and fairways need work (especially the front 9)

This course was in great shape and challenging. Highly recommend it.
Short but challenging
This course has a wide variety of layouts. You will use most of the clubs in your bag. The greens are always in great shape and very consistent.
