Enjoyable Round
Course is very player friendly. If you play the right tee box you can have a good, enjoyable tkme. Course is in good condition.
Not the best this course has been
I have played here many times before in tournaments and never had a bad experience. Pace was very slow, at one point had four groups on a par 5. Greens were so fast it was like putting on a hardwood floor. Rough was too tall, lost a couple balls in wide open areas. Staff was friendly . Course is laid out ok but too many blind hills make this course a little unsafe. Had a ball land in our cart. Overall I’d probably give it another shot.
Course in great shape!
Always a fun and friendly course. Everything was in great condition for Spring!
Fun time good course
Winter golf pricing was awesome. Great fun. Will definitely come back!
Charged us double the price and blamed GolfNow
Booked this on GolfNow and paid the $10 service fee. We showed up to the course expecting to pay $35 but the course said GolfNow had their winter rates wrong and said if we wanted to play it would be $65. He didn’t honor the rate so we paid double.
Not As Advertised
It’s actually $65 instead of the $35 advertised when you book it on the app. Was a nice surprise to pay almost double what I thought I was going to pay when I arrived since the course didn’t fix the prices on GolfNow. The Starter is one of the rudest I’ve ever encountered. The course condition was awful. The fairways were entirely dead grass. I had to pay double what I thought I was going to pay for course that didn’t even have good fairways. Save your money and go to one of the cheaper courses in the Front Royal area.
Great experience, will definitely return!
It's been a few years since I last played at Shenandoah GC and my experience was positive just like the last time. The staff was welcoming and courteous. I came as a single and joined a threesome. One of the guys was a member and was very helpful with course navigation. The area got some good rain over the weekend and the conditions were excellent. The tee boxes and fairways are well kept and the greens were pristine. The view of the surrounding mountains calmed me after a couple of bad shots. I will be back again. Hopefully the white course will be ready to play on by then.
Shenandoah
Played the blue red combo. Nice greens, very nice bunkers if there are such things.
The Blue course rough was very penal. The red course fairways were spotty. All in all it’s a beautiful setting.
In great shape!
I wish I had some photos to attach… What a beautiful place to play. This course was in great shape for early spring. Cartpath only due to the heavy rains the day before, fairways and greens were an excellent condition on all but a few holes.
Was disappointed that they aerated the greens. WHO aerates greens in December & why hadn't they stated that on golf now!!!
Shenandoah Valley Gold
Greens were aerated and very rough. 2 foursomes in front of us that did not let us (twosome) play through the whole day. About a 5+hour round. They were also playing loud music the whole time. We will not be going back to this course. Second time we played, second time it was a bad experience.
