We quit after 12 holes as it was going to take at least 4 Hours to play. The people in front of us were very slow and the course marshal did not speed them up. We left hole 12 and drove around and the course was wide open in front of the foursome in front of us. We played hole 18 and went home. Great day, disappointing round and well over your recommended playing time.

Great shape but high price
Conditions were great and got around on a par 60 in a little less than 4 hours. Paid about the same as a few full courses we’d played in the area

Great little course!
First time playing here and it was a great experience. Came to town for a week of golf and played here first to kick it off. What a great choice!! I would come back anytime!!!

David shouldn’t have a job
david the starter shouldn’t have a job as a “course marshal” 0 customer service. front desk said they could fit us in. got there at 2:35, didn’t tee off till 3:30. let 4 groups go in front of us. all bad players, spraying all over the course when it’s cart path only. we are latino descent, looked as us like we were terrible golfers. then tried to question our handicaps because we tee’d up from the tips on 1 (8 HDCP btw) i’ve never been treated so poorly on a golf course. i love the layout of desert willow but david the starter absolutely ruined this course for me and my friends. We will not be back ever.

Great course to work on your short game
Desert Willow is an executive golf course with two par 4's on the front, and two on the back 9. The par 3s on the course are of decent length, typically what you would find on a full length golf course which is good. It allows you to practice your short game as each hole does offer its own specific chalenges. The course was in excellent shape when I played. The greens ran true and the tee boxes were level without too many divots. Fortunately, I did not hit any sand traps during my round but the traps seemed to have decent sand in it as well (not those empty dirt traps you find at many other golf courses that are not properly maintained). In all, it was a very enjoyable round. I would highly recommend for the novice golfer, or even the advanced golfer looking to improve their short game.

No way
Had 3 pm tee time. During round told we had to be off course at 6. No problem...then they stuck in several groups on the back nine. Ran is off course with 2 holes to go. Told if we did not leave we would not be able play there again. No problem. Should not offer a tee time that can't complete. Apparently the residents do not want golfers on course after 6. Then last tee time should be 2.
