The Legacy Golf Club

First time playing here. Had a great time considering my bad play. The staff was great. The greens are really fast , and in pretty good shape. Some of the fairways are being worked on but for good golfers it won’t be an issue to avoid some of theconstruction spots. Only real criticism and it’s not the courses fault are the kids cutting through the 18 fairway from the adjacent apartment complexes , probably need a bigger fence? We had to wait and shoo some kids who just wanted to hand out in the fairway and then the group who were hanging out on the back tee box. Would definitely go back and play again.

Happy to see Legacy course back in decent shape again. Winter conditions meant fairways and greens look great against yellow dried out rough. Greens were a little slow with plenty of sand to take in approach shots and hold them on the green. Aggressive putting is needed as the greens have a little shag and sand underneath. Around the greens are tight lies so chips can be difficult. A Texas wedge might be preferred around the green. Only hit one bunker but enough sand to be aggressive with getting out. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how the course looked as this is one of the best layouts you can find in Henderson, NV. In the past 3 years it had been run down with poor conditions. Challenging holes that go up hill downhill, dog legs left and right, and plenty of hazards throughout lead to having to make a variety of shots. Overall, I felt it had great value for the money spent and I plan on making a trip back this year. Only Cons: Cart paths are in rough shape, Hole 7 has some remodeling happening, and lots of geese like to hang around the back nine greens near water leading to some "obstacles: on the putting green.

Highly highly recommend this golf course. Challenges and fun all the way. a big shout out to Josh and his help in the pro shop. Was treated with exceptional service! Coming back again when we’re in Las Vegas for sure

Receptive greens and good fairways given the time of year. Some work being done in some holes but a challenging track and fair from all tees.

The staff was friendly from arrival the departure. The greens are in great shape for winter. The Hot Deal price is tough to beat.

I really wanted to love this place because it's so close by to me but after playing there about a dozen times it was just never up to par. The 7th hole has been under major deconstruction for 6 months now, the greenskeepers start super late in the morning so even with a 9am tee time expect to have people constantly working the greens you're trying to hit into and not even bothering to get out of your way, same goes for bev cart workers who will not hesitate to drive directly towards you while you're on the tee. Goose excrement is everywhere, no wet towels provided, water coolers are placed intermittently but bring your own cups because none are provided, no golf ball washers. Only reason I'm giving a second star is for service staff that are usually really great. Greens and pace of play are slow as you'll ever see.

The starter John was wonderful and helpful. Course is in the best condition I’ve seen it in recent years. They’ve done a lot to upgrade it. The rough is no longer looking like some dude named starched from the 70s and the fairways are pristine. Very impressed with what new management has done with the place.

Fairways were in good shape. Rough was dormant as expected. Several tee boxes and greens in bad shape. But the worst was the sand traps. like playing out of the desert, which is dang tough next to a green. What’s the hold up? Get sand in the bunkers.
