Mountain at Angel Park Golf Club
About
Angel Park Golf Club is one-stop shopping in Las Vegas golf.
There are two Arnold Palmer courses, neither one too difficult for the average hacker. Plus, there's a lighted par-3 course with sometimes shrunken copies of a number of the most famous par-3 holes in the world and an 18-hole putting course.
This is the mega mall of Sin City golf. Palmer's Mountain Course reaches an elevation of almost 3,000 feet and provides views of the Red Rock Mountains and Las Vegas skyline when you get into it. The shorter Palm Course (6,525 yards) still offers wide-open fairways that allow you to go for the green. No need to play a timid game here.

The Cart Guy
Never see nothing said about the Cart Guys. Don’t know his name mid40-50 age. Very Professional and a pleasant gentleman .I was very impressed . Played the Mountain and Palm Courses both were spectacular and Staff also. GREAT JOB
Goose droppings
Nice course but there were a LOT of goose droppings
on many of the greens and tee boxes. One had to be very careful or shoes would be covered in unwanted waste material. The pace of play on this day was very slow. There should have been a course marshal out stop the play of the offending foursome or at least move groups along.
Nice course, friendly staff
Nice course, great mountain and valley views. Course is in very good condition but the management does not monitor player dress codes or pace of play. 5 hour round behind a twosome with blue jeans and not a ranger to be found.
Over booked
The pro shop staff are friendly, but It took us 5.5 hrs to play 15 holes didn’t finish 18.
NICE COURSE
Greens were the fastest i have ever played, lots of undulations. Very dfficult putting. Might play in the future but with the abundance of other courses I will probably play others before I play here again. Overall very nice.
Not long but be prepared.
Great course! Not a long course but can be very challenging. Once you’re on the green, good luck. Will play again.
Overseeding looks great!
Soft, plush, fairways are somewhat long in the blade, like a "first cut" and the greens are much slower right now after the recent overseeding. But it looks great and should provide a wonderful Winter of golf. Cart path only for the moment, but even with a walker joining us we completed our round in 4 1/2 hours on a Friday, so a relaxed, comfy pace. To tell the truth, the (temporarily?) slower greens right now are kind of a blessing as at Angel Park the speeds can get quite troublesome because there is a good amount of slope on many of them. We've had balls go up to the hole and then horseshoe back at us and watch downhillers trickle forever until they go off the greens at times in the past- but hey, it's common knowledge to stay below the hole there.
Enjoyable course & well routed through interesting desert terrain, a nice setting with enough challenge for the average golfer to need their focus and one of the better values in the Las Vegas area. Two more weeks and it should be just superb.
Angel Park Mountain Course, LV, NV
Been years since I played here. Just finished the overseeded so we were cart path only. The fairways are plenty wide enough. You are only in trouble if you out yourself there. The greens all slope away from the Sprong Mountains and have some pace. Luckily, for us today, the greens were a bit shaggy so we could put aggressively. It is pretty simple tract, Fairways and greens and you post a decent number.
round at The Mountain Course
We played the mountain course and it was cart path only. Why doesn't GolfNow have that designation prior to booking the tee time??
Great People
This is on my list for now on. Great course and excellent staff.
Awesome course overall
Beautiful course with an amazing view. Has his challenge but easy going through out.
Great Course and Condition
This was our first time playing gold in Vegas and this course absolutely set the bar very high for us. The staff at check in was friendly, the course was in great condition, and the pace of play was great. We will definitely play here again.
Angel Park. How golf should be played
Today courses can be way to difficult either because they don't have enough real estate or the designer has a good sense of humor. I am a 10 handicap and Angel Park gave me plenty of challenge while allowing higher handicap players fair options to avoid danger. We love playing here. Beautiful design and well taken care of.
Green Speed
Fairways and Greens in great shape. Greens were super fast and hard to read. Stay out of the rough unless you enjoy hitting off rocks and gravel.
