Mountain at Angel Park Golf Club
About
Angel Park Golf Club is one-stop shopping in Las Vegas golf.
There are two Arnold Palmer courses, neither one too difficult for the average hacker. Plus, there's a lighted par-3 course with sometimes shrunken copies of a number of the most famous par-3 holes in the world and an 18-hole putting course.
This is the mega mall of Sin City golf. Palmer's Mountain Course reaches an elevation of almost 3,000 feet and provides views of the Red Rock Mountains and Las Vegas skyline when you get into it. The shorter Palm Course (6,525 yards) still offers wide-open fairways that allow you to go for the green. No need to play a timid game here.

Nice course overall - fun
The range was Mats and hitting into a dust bowl. The course was good and fun. It’s nice and close to strip so convenient. Understand the rates but residents pay less than half. I get the jack the tourists but felt taken advantage of. I would definitely play again.
Amazing pat 3 course
The conditions of the greens on this course was excellent! Loved the challenge of hitting good short irons onto the greens without falling into sand traps!
Will come back to play again the next time I’m in Vegas!
Gorgeous For a Desert course
This golf course is gorgeous for a dessert course. I researched too public courses in Las Vegas and this course was top 10 on a few different lists. There was open tee times, and it was the closest to our hotel (Suncoast).
The Mountain course was absolutely breath taking. Each hole presented different challenges but didn't discourage you too much. There's some elevation changes, water, but mostly dessert obstacles to hit around or over.
I appreciated the complimentary range balls you get with a round. I'm from Ohio so I'm not used to paying over $70 for a round at the nicest courses we have. This is a very nice course but I don't see the value for $135 for 18 holes.
I was disappointed to learn that they didn't offer 9 holes rates on their Mountain or Palm courses. I wanted to try out the Palm course but I wasn't going to pay $120 for 9 holes.
I did return to play the cloud 9 course. I thought about taking pictures but I don't think they would have done it justice. 12 really well architected holes with some challenges for par 3's. I enjoyed testing out majority of my irons.
Cart-Path Only
I was very excited to play this course. Love being here. Amazing views. Course was well maintained. I understand why can’t path only but it made pace of play long. Grounds had just been maintained so fairway grass was fresh. Can’t wait to come back.
Been playing here for decades.
Been playing here for decades. One of my favorite courses in Las Vegas
Course in good shape, why cart path only?
The course seemed to be in fine shape, and is as challenging as any in the Las Vegas area. However, it was cart path only? Made it difficult to keep a good pace of play, as it was pretty warm out.
Angel Park Mtn. Course
Having just come out of overseed the course is in pretty good shape. It will be phenomenal in 2-3 weeks. Just a shame that players don’t fill divots and repair ball marks in greens. Greens roll smooth and are not to fast. Enjoyed the day!
Angel Park - Mountain
Great pace of play and as a single, I was paired with 2 other golfers and we all had a great time. Staff was nice and courteous and they brought my clubs in from the parking lot!
Terrible management
Long story short- when you have 5 groups...yes 5 groups all backed up on the same tee box there is something wrong. From the starter letting our 4 some go out as 2 groups (my 2 some got to go out alone instead of with the other 2 some we were paired with) because there "isn't another tee time scheduled for an hour" to there being consecutive groups coming out after us we should have known it was going to be a long day. No pace of play, no consistency, and poor course management. Won't be going back here. Food was good though.
Nice Course
Course was fun to play, greens were challenging but still playable. The rate I was charged didn’t match my records from tee off.
Great Shape
The course is in excellent shape. From the tee box to the greens everything is in great condition. The only issue is that it needs a Marshall. There was only two of us and there was a group of 5 in front of us and a group of 5 behind us.Never seen that anywhere else on a golf course.Definitely will be back , just hope they can do something with regards to marshalling the course.
Pay Attention
Course was in good shape but need attention to details.
Starter sent too many people out to quickly and things jammed up
The gps on the cart would shut down the cart sitting on cart path, happened numerous times. Got fed up and quit early. Described problem to staff. Got a chuckle and thought that the heat might be causing problem. Not a great thing in Las Vegas.
