THE WASH COURSE
The course is in the best condition it's been in for years. Staff is very friendly and helpful. IIf ou are having trouble slicing to the right all day then you will be in trouble close to the wash trying to hit out of the rough.. They have improved the area around the wash by keeping all the weeds mowed down so you can possibly find your ball. You can't beat the price so yes I will play it again.
Nice course
Even though part of fairway is under repair the course was nice and green excellent
Dogleg Left on Repeat
Yes, we all know that this course was not designed by Donald Ross, but overall, Kemper Sports Management Team does a good just with this property. $39 resident rate at 8am is pretty darn good, no matter the time of year. The Pace was a problem though - No marshal/ranger on the course, so it is a nightmare playing behind multiple 4somes that don't know golf ethics 101.
But the Course is in good condition, I saw the Cargirl 3 times, and it is cheap. Those 3 things will keep a lot of players coming back.
Just don’t miss right!
Greens were in very good condition. Fairways were lush. Just don’t miss right or you’ll loose your ball in the trash that’s washed up in the ravine that runs up the right side of the entire course. As long as you don’t end up in the ravine it’s s a really fun course.
Not What I Was Expecting
At the recommendation from a strip casino bartender, I thought I would get a quick round in before my flight...
The price was ok, the staff friendly, but as I found out after taking off on hole one the course wasn't in great shape. As others have stated, the narrow fairways make this a bit of a challenge, but what really was off putting was all the garbage in the drainage channel. There were also so may homeless people around the course ( outside of the fenced areas ) Ive never seen anything like it...
There were lots of bare patches on the fairway and the greens were just punched and sanded. The pace was 30 minutes behind, but I chalk this up to most people trying to fish their balls out of the channel on almost every shot.
For a locals course at a locals rate, this is an ok course for a recreational golfer, but if you are expecting something nicer, there are other courses for a bit more that would be more worth your while. Player beware, the whole experience was very bizarre...
Drainage canal is interesting feature
Only got to play the front twice as back closed for maintenance. Really need to clean up the trash around the drainage canal that runs down center of front nine. It distracted from an otherwise nice looking course.
Don’t miss right!
Course was in good shape. Great greens. There is a drainage ditch down the right side of EVERY HOLE! If you fade right off the T your ball is going into the ditch. Will not play again because of that but if you hit it straight the course is nice.
Amazing Greens
Got a 6am tee time and I'm glad I did because I was able to play 18 holes in just under 3 hours. The fairways were in okay condition with lots of repair work being done. This was kind of annoying while playing, but at least they were repairing the course instead of just letting it get worse. The layout wasn't anything special. Nothing to challenging and every hole was pretty straight forward. #9 was the only one that you had options on which is what I like the most. On #9 you can either lay it up 200 yards or cut the corner and shoot the gap with a 280 yard carry. I got lucky and was able to carry the gap. For me the biggest downfall of the course in the flood channel that runs down the middle of the course. Everything slopes to it. If you are a slicer (right handed golfer), bring a lot of balls because every slice will end up rolling in the water. The biggest plus on this course is the greens. They are about as close to perfect as you can get, and a very nice surprise for a budget friendly golf course. I haven't played a ton of golf, but these were the nicest greens I've ever played. Very firm and dense grass with no dead spots, very few ball marks, and perfectly cut. The greens are the only thing that would bring me back to this course.
Overall, amazing greens but a very basic and fairly easy layout.
Only if your hard up
Played here on 6/4 The two best things I’d say about this course is that the greens were very nice and the guys in the pro shop we’re friendly. My comments are based on paying a non-resident rate on 99 and not the resident of 49 good course based on the lower rate. Course played 30 minutes slow no ranger to push the group that was two holes behind.
Great value
Went on Golfnow and booked a hot deal in advance of coming to Vegas. Course was very well maintained with nice holes to play. Really enjoyed my golfing experience. Will come back next trip.
You get what you pay for
The course is not tough unless you fade the ball. There is ravine running the right side of every hole and the ball seems to always end up there. The tees were thin the greens were lush but extremely slow.

best course in town for the price ., This course is for the average joe, and you feel that instantly with the great customer service, Everyone gets treated like family .
-Sunrise also has the coolest cart girls in town .,
I will continue to play here as long as it’s open .!!!
Staff was cool and rate was fair
You get what you pay for. It was a reasonably priced course and a reasonable course as a whole. Greens were in good shape, easy to follow links course. Tough fairways to hit but that was part of the fun
SUNRISE & SHINE
I recently moved to Vegas from the New York City, so I hadn't played a course in Vegas. That can be daunting to say the least. Didn't want to overspend or go to a course that wasn't worth its salt. So, I decided to try out Sunrise. First off, it was super affordable -- so affordable I was positive I was going to be driving from dirt tee boxes. Boy, was I wrong. The course was as GORGEOUS as the 75 degree weather I played in. The staff was super friendly and the pace of play was stellar. The course itself had a cool layout with a death trench running through all the holes to the right. You may not like this course if you are a lefty who hooks/ or a righty who slices. But if you don't like a reasonable challenge that makes your game better-- I say you are coward and you should go back to bowling. The only drawback... and I'm reaching into glass to find this.... there is no drink cart. That said, Sunrise knows this and EVERY CART COMES WITH A COOLER AND ICE! So, they've given you the tools to be your OWN alcoholic. I've said all I needed to say. I'll be topping and slicing at Sunrise from now on!
