Slow, couldn’t finish
Tee’d off at 3:15 and the starters comment was that we weren’t gonna finish. What the heck? So your telling me that your selling tee times and you know that the players won’t finish 18. That’s either bad course management or an outright ripoff. Come and pay for 18 holes but have your carts in by 7:30 and we don’t have a Marshall so the pace will be slow and you’ll be lucky to play 16. That’s bad business. Won’t be back to play in the afternoon.
Palmer Pairs PARS with Picturesque Views
Annual trip to Mesquite isn’t complete without a visit to the Oasis Golf Club. The Canyons and The Palmer Courses two gems not to be missed. This trip, however, I only had time for one of them and The Palmer had a tee time that fit best.
The people are very friendly, EVERYWHERE: A fellow who brought a cart to our car in the parking lot; Pro Shop counter staff; starter; on course refreshment folks; all had a smile and made us feel like valued guests. That goes a long way to making the experience more enjoyable.
But we’re here to play golf and the course was in great condition. Fairways were terrific and provided lots of desert roll, extending the distance of great drives while providing better than expected results for drives that were not hit squarely. The greens were very firm and while they did not hold very well, they putted true.
I forgot to mention the pre-round breakfast at The Worden restaurant- excellent food at reasonable prices with friendly service. And since we still had time before tee off, my wife was impressed with choices in the Pro Shop, buying 2 tops and a pair of FootJoy sandals- $286. I thought it was going to be cheaper having her golf with me because that would be 5 hours away from the shopping mall-HA!
Thanks to everyone at The Oasis who made our day so much fun.
Good choice
I'm glad I found such a good deal on GN. I won't break the bank to play golf but do enjoy playing good courses at a decent affordable price. I liked everything about this course and it's accommodations. Great views, course was in exceptional shape and was laid out very nice. Staff was very welcoming and I will make a point of coming back on my annual trips to mesquite. Thank you for providing a reasonable price to play a top notch golf course.
Fair but challenging
Good test for any level of golfer.. with many elevation changes, raised greens and collection areas. That said, course is fair and in great shape, with just a few blind shots... and some great panoramic views of the area. Greens roll nice and are set at a fair speed for the average golfer and the type of course. Player assistants visible to try to keep decent pace of play. Overall, a very enjoyable course and good value for the dollar with Golf pass rate.
Challenging but fair
Great track in good shape, greens roll nice and decent speed. Lots of elevation changes, collection areas and elevated greens so course plays long, but views are great. Good dollar value with a golf pass rate.
Great views, great layout, great challenge
Fun layout, challenging course with tons of elevation changes...a few blind shots but nothing gimmicky... Many elevated greens so seemed to play long. Overall great shape and greens rolled very well.. but not super fast. Good dollar value through Golf Now.
This course is fun!
We really like this course! Have been paired with super fun people each time which is always a blast! 💥

Palmer has some great features
The course is challenging, and in very good shape, I would recommend it
Very enjoyable course
We didn't start till 3, but were still able to finish. No back ups till the last 2 holes. Nice challenging course. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
Marshall was worse than my mother
Marshall came by at 430 let us know we had to have carts in by 515 assured him we would then hassled us twice after that reminding us and disturbing are round I told him I'm a grown man and they would be in on time to leave us alone felt like my mom was there not nessary to be reminded twice
Stupid Pin Placements. Great Course. Wrong Day.
We Love the Palmer Course at Oasis and made the 5 hour drive to play. The course was beautiful as always and the staff is great. But they had a men's scramble tournament in the morning and to make it "interesting" for them had put all the pins is the dumbest spots on the greens. Most were tucked to the tightest edges only 2 paces onto the surface of an otherwise huge green, and many/most in the middle of a pretty severe slope. It honestly ruined our experience as EVERY green was set up this way. I hit putts that lipped the cup but then finished 15ft away because of slope. that's just dumb, and super disappointing.
