Casablanca Resort & Casino
About
Casablanca Resort & Casino is located an just an hour north of Las Vegas. In addition to being Mesquite's most popular entertainment venues, it also has an 18-hole golf course that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The course sprawls across rolling terrain that gives it provides challenging ups and downs on every hole. Water and strategically placed bunkers come into play throughout. The layout begins with a downhill par 4 that is fairly straightforward, giving a good chance at par or better. In contrast, the par-4 fifth hole is the golf course's no. 1 handicap hole. Long drivers aiming too closely to the lateral hazard stakes risk a penalty on this long and deceptive hole since the hazard comes into play more than it appears. Play it smart by aiming to the left of the green or you'll face the bunkers on the right side.

Casablanca- A must play course
This course is a great course. A little challenge here and there and a moderate challenge here and there. It is a great course for both beginners at the front tee box and the advanced at the third and tips tee boxes. The greens were fast, fairways perfect and the rough was a little challenging on some holes. All in all a great course to paly in Mesquite NV.
We paly there every year we go to Mesquite.
Just Okay.
Played this course years ago, whn it first opened. It was pristine. No longer, it’s either getting too much play without proper maintenance or pure lack of maintenance. Carts are lower end with no electronic range finders. At this price point this is unacceptable. This is the perfect part of the season for them and for play, but the coarse is far from perfect.
Great course
Staff is very friendly, course was in excellent condition. Fun day!
Staff unwilling to speed up play
I get it, slow play happens - especially on easier layouts like this that attract a broader skill range. But to split throw your hands up and claim that "we can't do anything about it" is simply not doing your.job.
Good course in Mesquite, NV
Had a great time golfing in Mesquite, NV at the Casablanca Golf course. Nice place and the day was beautiful wth sunny skies and mid-50’s F temperature. For January golfing, it gets dark early and will lose most light by 4:30 pm. Drink cart came around frequently to recharge us!
Only drawback for the day was pace of play. My group are not great or even really good at golfing by any measurement. But we frequently were waiting as pace of play backed up. We finished all 18, with it getting dark on #18.
Overall the staff isgreat and friendly! I would recommend playing here if in Mesquite!
Marshall
Slow. No Marshall. Slow. Lots of goose poop.
Slow Pace
It was a Saturday and the course was packed. However, it was frustrating to see so many twosomes playing instead of putting them together.
TMAC’S
Fun course, very user friendly! Fairly level, not physically taxing. Pro shop well stocked with all the “good stuff” Well trained and friendly staff.
Fun.
A fun course. Great staff. Great price.. 3 hour round.. Good shape except bunker sand is very hard.
Great fun course.
No complaints except sand traps were rock hard. Fairways, greens, staff, pace of play great.
Staff rushing us literally from the start
Walked in 10 minutes before our tee time at 2:30. Bruce proceeded to say right away before even saying anything else that we are alone and that they’re trying to close so we need to hurry. I asked if we could hit driving range before just for like 10 minutes. Payed for the balls and he said well technically that means you’ll go out after 2:30 so then you can just play 9… At this point I already payed so I just looked at him and he said it was fine. Then we got started and one of our riders who wasn’t playing was getting too hot so they went back to the club house to sit. About 45 minutes later we get a call from her saying that they were closing everything around her… They even shut the lights off on her. So after 10 holes we came back in and left and Bruce talked to us again and said how was it and at this point I was irritated, so I said we felt super rushed. He literally said to my wife yeah we were definitely rushing you guys so we could leave. We paid for a round of golf. You are in business to make money and allow people to play at your course. If you are so worried when you’re gonna leave, then you need to not be in business. I’ve been playing for 10 years and have never experienced the horrible customer service that we experienced that day. I will never return to this course not because of the conditions but because of how it’s ran. Just close the course if you don’t want to serve guests or have people play, or just quit the job Bruce. You don’t deserve to be in this industry if you treat people like so.
