Having hosted three PGA Senior Tour events, Wild Creek Golf Course is a run that few golf travelers want to miss and part of what helps to make Reno and the High Sierras one of the top golf destinations on the entire West Coast.
Featuring rolling meadows and challenging golfers with a plethora of water hazards and other challenges, Wild Creek is a popular stop for local golfers. With a course that will challenge golfers of all levels, Wild Creek is also a bonanza for those that love great scenery during their round, as panoramic views of the High Sierras and Reno will be a player's partner for the round.
Wild Creek is rounded out with superb practice facilities, to go along with a par-3 executive course, making it the perfect place for players to sharpen their golfing skills.

Ehhh
The course is in horrible shape. Not sure if it because it is the beginning of the year or because they are letting the course go due to the new high school being built.
So-So
Course conditions were bad. That is the primary reason for my mediocre review. It was very dry and there are a plethora of rodents EVERYWHERE!!!!! Grass needed to be repaired or reseeded in a lot of areas on the fairways. I also wasn't a fan of how often you had to turn the carts around at the tee boxes to continue.
On a good note, the track itself is pretty cool. Lost of slope and hills which makes it somewhat challenging. Some elevation change as well which is always fun. Good views!
Overall, if they took better care of the course and/or spent some money on repairs...the course would get a 4.5 from me.
Wildcreek
Playing Wildcreek is always good. The Golf Now app makes it unbelievably affordable and the winter Time means no back ups!
Cold Day in Reno
Cold day, good round, not crowded. They are closing the course to build a school soon, so went out and got in a lap. Will do more, had fun.
This is competitive course.
I like this course, it’s hard but it makes you think and decide what clubs you use..

Great Experience
I shot an 89 from the tips so the score influenced me (I usually shoot 90 to 95). We didn't see anybody on the course until the last 3 holes.
Great shape
The course is in great shape for this time of year, and the green are some of thw best in the reno. Remember when your putting everything goes tward the airport. I'll be back to play next week for sure
Elevation changes
Course has a couple of holes with major elevation. A par 3, where you can barely see the flag, and a par4 where your drive needs to be accurate or you won't be able to see the flag. I liked it!

Nice course and great layout . There Are some very challenging holes(18) . staff is friendly and the value for gold is good!! I will be back!!
Can't beat a Sunday round of golf for 30. Course was in good condition, staff was friendly and weather was great.
