Can't believe it's a Muni!
This course is like a classical song, it builds somewhat slowly on the front 9 finishing with a great crescendo on the back. First of all it was less than 20 dollars walking for a senior, which is a great bargain for a course like this. For this time of the year the conditions were excellent,, nice greens and fairways. And every time I've played it the conditions have been good. The scenery is amazing! You can see the mountains 50 miles away, it looks like a beautiful painting. We don't have anything like this in Wisconsin. And the clubhouse is a nice relaxing place to rehash the round with your friends with a beverage and a bite to eat. It all makes for a very enjoyable time for not a lot of money. What more can you ask?.
The price is hard to beat Greeted at the door by a staffer Smiled and was glad to see us Played in less than 4 hoursSlow greens but they were true There were many challenging tee shots Good variety of holes Play it
Played 18 holes with very little wait. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pretty straight forward holes. greens were recently plugged.
Great course for the money
Friendly staff, great food. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape. Fairways were good size so you didn't have to worry about being in the desert.
This course is very challenging and the views are great. The staff at this course go above and beyond for the customers.
Couse was in great shape. Had a hard time reading greens but greens in excellent shape. Need to play couple more times.
was a very satisfying course
the course was in very good shape has very nice view around the mountain and I would like torecommend disc golf course to anyone
Excellent course, Had a great time. Paired up to make a foursome with really friendly golfers.
Gets better every ti me
Course is in great shape. Fairways are lush and not to firm. Greens are in great shape and a bit fast. Always a challenge reading the greens. Sand traps are much better than in past years.
A super deal!
Views were breathtaking as usual and along with the course that Marty Sanchez is, this made for a wonderful golfing experience all-around.
Good public course
Very playable course
Good to keep ball in fairway
Can hit driver on all holes except par 3
Greens are good considering the amount of play they receive
The Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe maybe a "muni" course but it delivers an exceptional value for its price, level of course difficulty and friendly staff. The pace of play could be improved by course Marshalls however because everyone is so friendly I think the Marshalls are overly timid when it comes to encouraging groups to hurry up pace of play or asking groups to join up into 4 somes if need be. Overall the course is in great shape and I feel lucky to have such a gem of a course located in my backyard and hometown of Santa Fe, NM. Kudos to the city and staff for making it such an enjoyable experience each and every time I play there.
enjoyed the course
have played here several times and have fun every time
Great bang for your buck
With the exception of a 15 min rain delay, an absolute great day of golf. Played an afternoon round for about $20 on Golf Now. The short rain kept things cool and the course is as green as could be. You get to use every club in your bag at this fun course.
Love the course
The greens and fairways were in very good condition. The only drawback was no marshall and we got behind 4 guys playing VERY slow and they would not let us around so we had to skip a par 3 to get around them. I would play again because really liked course.
I like to play here. 9 minute drive from my house. You can ride for $33 or walk for $22 (senior rate) Plenty golfers walk here. Play early if you want to finish in under 4.5 hrs. The conditions are average at best. The bunkers lack good sand. The greens are nice and roll smooth. It has a " links" feel.
Nice course but no $ booking savings
A very nice New Mexico course, both fairways and greens were in great shape. I was very happy playing here. But beware, I booked my GolfNow tee time at 2:00 pm for $33 with cart for a 30% savings. However, this tee time was during the course's twilight afternoon schedule. Their regular twilight tee time rate was already $33 with cart. So I didn't save any money booking through GoldNow. The booking fee I paid was simply a waste of my money. I've requested a refund of my booking fee from GolfNow. We'll see if they refund it.
I will play at this course again but I may not use GolfNow to book my tee time.
A fun course, with only moderate elevation changes.
The course was only disappointing because of the number of walking golfers that seemed to have no concern for the pace of play.
