About
Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club offers the traditional links course reminiscent of those found in the British Isles, situated amidst Virginia's horse country. The club gets its name from the land's former use, a raspberry field. The scenic terrain overlooks to Catoctin Mountains and there are still a few raspberry bushes dotting the course. By far the layout's most formidable challenges come from the deep, stacked pot bunkers that make it truly feel like a classic Scottish golf course. There are also water hazards on a few holes. The course's signature is the par-4 third hole, which is long but plays downhill all the way. The 10th hole, another par 4, is one of the toughest. The landing area is generous off the tee but there is a creek and pond to the left and fairway bunkers on the right.

Nice Course, Expensive
We paid $145 for 18 here but the course feels like it's worth $100-$120. Some tee boxes aren't great and the carts had extremely touchy brakes, other than that it was really nice.
Definite Upgrade From Previous Rounds Played
Thanks for your golf customer service and product delivery…soon to be one of my top northern Virginia courses of choice . Hope to see you all again soon!
Pace of play was insane
Starter sent groups out every 5 minutes “tee off when they get to the green” was his direction. Was a parking lot for a majority of the round. I believe groups gave up so that sped it up a bit.
Nice course but has flaws
Drove out here because heard it was beautiful and it was. Some cool tee shots and a beautiful layout. Tee boxes needed work, some were bust patches of weed and dirt. Pace of play was awful. We played a 5 hour plus round. One group held up the whole time and no marshal to enforce it. Golf carts weren’t the best, flat tires and bad brakes. Glad I got to try the course but wouldn’t make the drive again and pay this much for it.
Epic course
This course really surprised me with it's amazing conditions, nice clubhouse, great paced greens, and the amazing Scottish style bunkers (super hard to play and epic). Highly recommend
Gone downhill
I played Raspberry Falls many years ago, and left with fond memories. But when I played recently, the course seemed to need a lot of attention. They were many areas that should be repaired, holes in the side of the fairways, muddy patches, grass dumped by the side of greens, ball washers missing or dry, some tee boxes overgrown, grass missing from fairways. Also, the greens were very slow and we suspected they needed to be cut.
This Course Is Falling Apart
Don’t waste your money, this place is in poor shape! Not worth even a hot deal. This use to be be a beautiful course it’s sad to see how this course has deteriorated!
