Was a great day! Enjoyed the course! Only a few muddy spots for the cart.
This course is flat.
Perfect weather. Good golfing companions. I need to play more. Don not hit it as far or well as I used to.
The course is in great shape
I've been golfing at all of the Sacramento, auburn, roseville area courses, Bing is in the best shape out of all. I enjoyed a round of nobody pushing me, and nobody holding me up. I credit that to the way everyone was grouped. Good job to the staff at Bing Maloneys.
Good condition
I started playing Bing again now that they've been taken over by new course management. The greens are in really nice condition. Were probably rolling at a 10 and pure.
Nice round
Took a childhood friend to the Express. We had a great time.
Caddyshack IRL
While it may not be gophers, the ground squirrels have done a number to the 18 hole side of bing. Both in the rough and on some of the fairways you will find yourself losing balls to the nice fuzzy grey creatures that you see every 10 feet. Not worth the cost of this place in its current condition.
The #12 par 4 is one of the toughest in Sacramento area.
Course was in very good condition. Greens were rolling great with a few bad spots here and there. Pace of play was great. I walked course and didn't run into groups ahead of me until 12th and even then pace was good.

Not recommended. Too pricey for quality and pace of play. Tee boxes and greens need attention. Not located in best area of town.
Fast round on a monday!
Another great round, and fast. Course is in great condition, and fast play. Does it get any better?
Good course, but no water on course for guest.
It was 100 degrees and there was no water. One marshal on the front nine who ran out of water and no water on the back. This has to change.
Challenging Greens
Golfed the 9 hole course to work on my short game. The course has greens at various angles to challenge your putting ability. The Bing Maloney Express 9 course is a great course to enhance your golfing skills.
Not a Great Course
Not a great course. Not well maintained and they pack the tee times in way too tight. It's a free for all out there sometimes.
Greens need a little work.
Greens were awesome several months ago, but since they were aerated last, they are a bit patchy. Rolled reasonably well, but speed varied, and quite a few patchy spots.
Pace of play was Exceptional for a weekend.
The food was really good - very friendly staff in the restaurant.
Don't Waste your time with this one.
During the first 9 holes, the marshall told us the group behind us was calling in to say that we were playing slow. We played faster. My friend and I were in a cart and the couple that were with us were walking. We did not see the group behind us waiting. The marshall told me to speed play, not to park the cart on the cart path. But to park next to the tee box and green so I didn't have to walk as far. This reflected the poor condition of the course because they obviously did not care about the grass around the green or tee box. On the 10th tee, the marshall told me to let the couple walking go on ahead and we would try to keep up with them. I told the marshall that we waited on them because they were walking. One of the individuals in the group behind us started an altercation while I was about to tee off. We were forced into leaving the course and requesting a refund for the last nine holes. We will never go back.

NOT BAD FOR A MUNI
PACE OF PLAY WAS SURPRISINGLY FAST FOR A MUNICIPAL COURSE; GREENS AND FAIRWAYS OK; ONLY REAL OBJECTION IS THE #1 HANDICAP HOLE ON THE BACK NINE HAS A TREE DIRECTLY IN LINE WITH YOUR TEE SHOT. THERE IS NO WAY TO HIT A REASONABLE DRIVE ON THIS HOLE THAT WILL GIVE YOU A FAIR SHOT TO THE GREEN - RIDICULOUS DESIGN. OTHERWISE THE COURSE IS FAIR AND CHALLENGING ENOUGH

was only $12 because of punched greens. good for the price.
The greens were being aerated, There were no signs indicating next hole location. Sprinklers were turned on while we were approaching the greens.
I thought my T time was for Monday at 12:24, the person behind the counter(Mattie I believe to be his name), instead of taking advantage that there was no one there at the time to be polite and helpful, became intolerant and rude. Being my first time at the golf course and also my first time using Golf Now I was puzzled at his attitude. He kept insisting that I have made a mistake or that I was at the wrong golf course. When I asked him to please call the course manager or at least make a telephone call to Golf Now to confirm the appointment he suggested I use my cellular telephone instead. Upon my insistence finally he called Golf Now. It was confirmed that my Tee time was for Tuesday instead of Monday.
The greens were great challenging, but OK
A nice course. Friendly people. Well worth the time to get there. I'll certainly go back.

holes should be designed for the average player to have a reasonable chance at par; this one does not give you that chance; still think it's a bad design; I am 6 handicapper and still hit the tree with what I thought was a perfect drive
The #12 hole at Bing is one of the most famous holes in the Sacramento area. The tree is in the middle but skilled players can get a high draw over that and have a 4/5/6 iron into the green. It's the #1 hcp hole for a reason.
