Very scenic course; privacy issues with houses on top of the course; greens have some issues
very scenic course with water on most holes; take your camera, say hi to the gator on #14
Great time with pairing. 2 men from England and a retired airline pilot made for an interesting day.
We had some pretty good golf and great weather.
Course is fairly tight and in good condition.
Very nice course. Great layout. Shotmaker's course. Strategically placed hazards.
A Pleasant Discovery
On a Saturday in February, I was looking for a place to play the next morning near my home in Lakewood Ranch. Rosedale had some early tee times available but I had never played there before even though it was close to home. We were willing to go early, before 8:00 am and the rate was good. They had an average practice area with a range (balls for purchase) and a practice green. The course was well maintained as were the greens, moderately fast with morning dew but faster as the day wore on. Traps were also good. Water comes into play on many holes, sometimes unexpectedly, but can be avoided once you have played the course. Some fairways are narrow penalizing errant shots. We played after some heavy rains he day before but the course seemed to drain well with standing water on the perimeter of some holes. All in all, we enjoyed the course and will play there again.
Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent visit to Rosedale. I was happy to read that you enjoyed our golf course. If there's anything else I can do for you please do not hesitate to call me at our club’s administrative offices.

Rosedale is a great course. The layout provides for no parallel holes...each hole stands on its own. Greens are fast, with lots of interesting undulations. Fairways are good, some narrow, some wider. Lots of water. Our foursome played in 4:15...a good pace. Staff is very accommodating. Overall, a strong challenge that’s worth the price.
I was happy to read that you enjoyed Rosedale. I will share your comments with our team. We look forward to serving you in the future.

Not a good start to the day!!!!
The bag boy was clueless, he didn’t know to get our clubs out of the car. Then he put our clubs on the cart backwards. Yes backwards!!! Now off to the course, A 2 some teed off before our 4 some, we never caught them, we played the front nine in 2:05...nice, right, wrong, at the 10th there was a 4 some leaving the tee????? After 3 slow holes waiting for them on every shot I called the pro shop, and was told someone would come out to see what was up! 4 more slow holes and a ranger shows up, I ask, where have you been, did the pro shop tell you I called? Response...no one told me there was a call.
Course in great shape. Green are very fast but with little break. Fairways are cut low and therefore have very little “ fluff”
Course is overrated
Houses are right on top of you. Course conditions were just ok. Price was high relative to quality of course. Pace was super slow. Over 2 1/2 hours to play the front nine. Wouldn’t recommend this course.
I sincerely regret that we did not meet your expectations. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this situation with you directly. Please contact me at our club administrative offices if you would like to discuss this matter further.

If you like it narrow
I'm a pretty good golfer 11 HCP but this was tight even for me. First time, so would have left the driver in the bag if i had known. Two guys i played with (both around 20 hcp) struggled to find the fairways and barely broke 100.
Personally i liked the course it had charm (I shot 81) and never made a putt - 11 on the stimp.but if you like to rip it or you are way-ward not for you
Two issues - $10 for a bucket of range balls - really? And the marshall told us to speed up but we waited on our shots - like the fact they want to keep it moving but we were not the problem.
Not for the faint of heart
This course is in great shape but is a real challenge for your accuracy. Fairways are narrow with both woods and water along the fairways. There is little space for error around the greens and they are some of the fastest in the area.
The course was still recovering from last week's rain the back nine was real wet and the fairways we're tight .the greens were nice
The course was in good shape . It is a very pretty course. It is also a challenging course.
Great overall experience
From the off load of the bags too the 19th hole !!
A wonderful day of golf
Thanks Rosedale staff
Course in very good condition, pace of play excellent 3:45
