Great layout

Course is in great shape. Fairways are well maintained and the greens are fast!! The rough was thick but not to thick to lose a ball. Nice to hit out of. Course is well kept. A little confusing on where the next hole is, could be better marked. Great day of golf!

Interesting & Confusing

Interesting FL course with elevations, and only one small pond as a water feature. Very different to what I'm use to.
Limited in land, so every hole is next to each other. No driver allowed at the range. How the UF team practices? The lay out is quite confusing for first time players. There are no signs pointing to the next holes, lay-out on the score cards or hole maps on the tees. It is easy to get lost, specially on the east side of the course, where three holes criss-cross each other.
At some point I played to the wrong hole and took us while to figure out where to hit and what was the lay-out of the hole.
Conditions have room for improvement. I expected better from UF.
Due to elevations and wind, the course plays quite longer than what the score card states. Greens are challenging: small, elevated and not very receptive.
I'll play it again and again when in town before my son graduates. (There are not better "public" choices in Gainesville anyway)

Perfect Tournament Conditions

Played the day before the annual Gator Invitational and could not have been more impressed. Fairways were some of the best I've seen and the greens were fast! And all for $15 to walk at twilight.

Gator Golf!

I drove in from Ocala to play. I have to say, the course rivals most country clubs I've played. Super fast greens that read true. Lush fairways with perfect divots. Highly recommend you play this course!!

Love This Course

Played out here hundreds of times while in college. Course conditions are improving. Extremely crowded on a Saturday morning. Love the layout.

Gator Open Golf Tournament

Course was in good condition for the annual Gator Open Golf Tournament. Pins were in a tough spots and course was playing more difficult than normal. Great layout and will miss playing here after graduating from college.
