Lots of potential here
The sky ferry you take to this course is really cool and one of a kind. I played the Oaks and Ravine 9s and I recommend the Ravine but would pass on the Oaks next time. The Oaks course doesn't have much character compared to the Ravine and the only hole that boarders the Intercoastal waterway is the 1st hole of the Ravine course. About a third of there greens need some assistance or they are going to start dieing off worst then they already are. Overall I would rate the conditions fair to good. This place has potential but need better conditions to compete with the multitude of great courses in the area for the same price. Also, some of the outside staff have serious attitude issues and provided the worst service I have seen in years, anywhere.
Awesome!
Went out on a limb reserving a tee time on this was as I wasn't familiar with this course. Deal was awesome and too good to pass up and went with it, glad I did! Great RTJ course! Will definitely play again when I get back there. Played Lakes and Ravine...found out why they call it Ravine though! I was in it! LOL.
Fast greens, well maintained...loved this course!
Great Experience
A fairly challenging course for a near 60 year old golfer...just enough sand and water to challenge both female and male golfers of various abilities. The staff were very courteous and efficient in getting golfers off the first tees in an organized manner. The fairways were very well maintained, but I found the speed of the greens to be somewhat inconsistent between the different nines. This, however, did not detract from the game and is to be expected due to aeration at different times. The aerial car ride over to the clubhouse and back to the parking lot was an added bonus. I would consider this a Myrtle Beach must for visiting golfers!
An interesting place to play. Gondola ride to course from parking area was a different twist.
Course was in decent condition. Some tee boxes were a bit thin.
Greens were top dressed
Course was in good shape. The greens were top dressed
and very fast. Good value for the golf now booking
I enjoyed playing this course.
The course has a variety of holes requiring different shots. I enjoyed the challenge but it was also very reasonable shots.
Good variety of length. Pristine condition.
Enjoyed the design. It was moderately difficult with very well manicured fairways and green areas. The greens were perfect because they all rolled at the same speed. I would definitely play this course again.
Nice Course
Nice Course cool way to get to it on a skylift Very tight course a real shot an target golf but fun to play.
Good course
This was a nice moderate course we were only able to play 9 holes after the turn we got a sever lightning storm that stranded us in the club house for 2 1/2 hours because they would not let us ride back over the gondola they finaly after brought a van in to bring people back over from a back way this made it a very bad experience they should have a better back up plan
Fun course, great value
Enjoyed every hole I played that day. Other than it taking close to 5 hrs to play 18 holes , no reason for me to not come back.. Folks ahead of our group should just pick up after 2nd put and move on, would have helped speed up the round.
Very nice course
Course itself was very nice and well maintained. STaff were friendly, but the whole process of having to wait in line for a gondola to take you across the waterway to the clubhouse was a bit much. If they could make this process quicker, our experience would have been great. Instead we were 20-30 mins late starting which didn't make us popular with our wives who were waiting for us on the other end of our round to begin our "family" vacation activities.
challeging course, a bit tight at times, layout used every bit of space
I really enjoyed the trolly ride accross the river. The folks there were very frendly. The course coditions were great, except for some greens that had alot of sand in them. But the greens were not slow. The layout was s tight at times, also they used evey bit of space to make it a 27 hole course. we had one stray shot land on our tee box. over all the couse is challenging for amatures and intermediates players. This should be added to the must play list of Myrtle beach golfes.
Course was alright
Course was pretty chewed up greens were not in good shape. I've played course previously when it was in great shape maybe the heat had something to do with the greens
It's a great course with options for 9 or 18 holes
Staff very friendly - starter was also friendly and helpful - had a wonderful time - players played at great pace -no pressure from group following..very enjoyable.
We are novice players and was a perfect course for us
This course feels secluded even though right in the hustle of town
The course was a great place for my beginer wife and still challenged me not that I am great by any means. Well groomed and greens in great shape.
Great day
Beautiful course for the money. Learned a thing or two about Bermuda greens! Watch for the burned out side of the cup....great tip.
Well maintained greens
A real interesting course, from the cable car ride in to the well manicured course.
great views; well manicured course; friendly staff
From the moment you get out of your car, you're greeted by a friendly, polite staff. The gondola ride gives you a great view of your upcoming challenge. Not one house on this course; no back yards, but look out for the water and woods. one of my favorite in myrtle Beach.
Decent course, good value
Enjoyed the course but unfortunately becaus of heavy rain the night before cart path only made it a slow round. Not extremely long course, but decent challenge. Not the best course on the strand but not bad for$43 on a Saturday in April.
