Awful pin location
The individual responsible for selecting the pin location clearly lacks golf experience. By placing the pin in such challenging spots, particularly on weekends, it has resulted in slower play as everyone tries to complete their putts.
Nevertheless, the course's condition is gradually improving. The greens are consistent and well-maintained, and the bunkers are of the highest quality.
it was good
After playing golf, I looked around and the view was great.
Very good course conditions for the price
Fairways and greens were in very good shape, which is always most important to me. This day the greens were firm and fast, which added to the challenge. Some tee boxes are being worked on, but it wasn't a factor for our group. The facilities and amenities aren't luxe, but the carts worked fine, and when the track is in decent shape, it's a nice place to take advantage of a good weather day.
Always enjoy playing Prince William
Course always in great shape. Bunker renovations are much appreciated; beautiful white, fluffy sand! Greens are normally fast, and yesterday’s pin placements devious.
A Hard Round
The course was in great shape. The greens were very short and fast with put-put like pin positions. With small greens this made putting and pitching quite the challenge. Overall though, I would recommend this course. The staff is nice and the layout of the course makes it a fun day.
A somewhat challenging course
I accidentally made reservations for the wrong day but the employees were happy to change the reservation even though my tee time had come and gone.
Fun and Dependable
I’ll always pick PW G.C. When I’m looking to work on my game. Tees and fairways are almost always in very good condition. Greens are sloped more than most courses, although they have slowed them somewhat. Patrons need to fix their ballparks. Just fix your own. Folks like me will eventually get the rest; I averaged 5 per hole yesterday! It’s hard to lose a ball, so it’s a nice course for the beginners & challenged. One issue needs addressing - the time before last our cart would not make it up hills and had to be replaced. Yesterday’s cart was almost as bad. My partner golf partner had to jump out on the path leading up to the par-3 4th so that thaw cart could climb the hill!!
Pace of Play
The people at PW are amazing and the course is hard to beat. PW is known for stacking the tee times and this was no different. The round took right at 5 hours.
