River Oaks Golf Club
About
River Oaks Golf Club stretches across more than 800 scenic acres along the Intracoastal Waterway. The Course begins with the shortest of the three nines and finishes with the longest. The final hole on the front nine presents one of the most interesting risk-reward opportunities on the golf course. You can aim for the right bunker for an open shot at the green or try a long drive down the left side for a short approach. River Oaks Golf Clubs' Otter nine has several challenges in store including mounding, strategically placed bunkers, and tricky water hazards.

Wet, wet, wet
A decent course at a low price. It was very wet the day we played. Some areas verged on unplayable.
I enjoyed the course however the pace of play was terrible. It should never take five and one half hours to play 18 holes. The ranger should have did his job and speeded the play up.
Fun course
Played there on a nice fall day. Super helpful on arrival. There is a nice driving range to warm up on. Course conditions were good and you need to play thoughtful golf by placing your shots carefully. Many holes you need not use your driver. I played the gold tees. Overall the course was a good experience at a reasonable price.
Shot makers course
Front 9 was tough big hitters need to dial it down and shape your shot. Back 9 you can swing it. Very enjoyable very busy so play was a little slow but not bad
Great day on the links
We had a great day at River Oaks. Layout is player friendly and yet challenging. Staff was friendly. Overall a great day on the links!
Good course, value for money
The course is fairly challenging with some water hazards.
It is in good shape although some tee boxes were poor but fairways and most greens were good so no problem.
The staff were friendly and respectful and the round was quick- we were a twosome and a foursome and a threesome waved us through which was good and respectful.
A ice Course
The course was nice. A bit backed up at first but then it cleared out. A few things to make this nicest would be a map of he course. We had nothing to tell us where the water was ir the direction of the fairways. Something should be on the cards or at least on the signed at the front of each hole. Also, some of the bunkers were mud as opposed to o sand.
