Diamondback Golf Course
About
The 18-hole Diamondback Golf Course (previously known as Diamond Back at Woodland Valley Country Club) in Loris, SC is a Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda golf course that opened in 1999. Diamondback Golf Course was designed by Russell Breeden. The greens are Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda and the fairways are bermuda.
This modern Russell Breeden design is surrounded by unspoiled natural wetlands and lowcountry forest. Diamondback Golf Course is the first course on the Grand Strand to offer Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda greens. Strategically placed bunkers and lakes allow for a challenging round of golf that will make you return year after year

Solid course - well maintained
First time visit- friendly staff, course well maintained. Course surrounded mostly by trees very quiet visually. Some holes on back nine back up to neighborhood. Water is somewhere on 17 of 18 holes. Easy to avoid if you know it’s there. Played with son - we both misjudged the distance on many hole. There is some course design eye trickery going on here. Just bring your GPS and you are good. Good value for money. Will play again. Good job Diamondback!
NICE COURSE
If you look for a reasonable priced nice course with a challenging layout you just fond it.
Great course
Was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the course. Fairways and greens where in excellent condition.will definitely play again.
Worth it
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Course is interesting and sometimes challanging.
Pace was good till we caught up to the ladies foursome that teed off 1/2 hour before us
my new home course
enjoyed the course thoroughly! the bunkers need some work though, fluffy sand would be alot better. staff was great and the cold water during these dog days of july were greatly appreciated! Now that i’m a local, i look forward to playing here often and bringing family and friends!!
