Diamondback Golf Course
About
The 18-hole Diamondback Golf Course (previously known as Diamond Back at Woodland Valley Country Club) in Loris, SC is a Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda golf course that opened in 1999. Diamondback Golf Course was designed by Russell Breeden. The greens are Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda and the fairways are bermuda.
This modern Russell Breeden design is surrounded by unspoiled natural wetlands and lowcountry forest. Diamondback Golf Course is the first course on the Grand Strand to offer Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda greens. Strategically placed bunkers and lakes allow for a challenging round of golf that will make you return year after year

Diamondback GC
Great course front nice was wide open and had some challenges. Then the back nine will eat you up and smile the whole time
Terrible coarse
I have never seen short poor shape as this course was. Played it a few years ago and it is in worse shape than ever. The fairways were a joke and the greens can not be called greens. The should spend some money to improve fairways and greens then that may help.
We have decided that we will never return to this course regardless of price.
The other bourses in the Myrtle beach area that are rated poor are in much better shape than this course.
Very interesting, great value for money
This is a very interesting and well maintained golf course. Lots of water, lots of fluffy sand, and beautiful greens. Definitely a championship golf course comparable to many very much pricier courses in the Myrtle Beach area. Excellent value for money. One heads up - lots of healthy carries over water or marsh.
No Southern hospitality!
It appeared to me that we were intruding on their time when we showed up....maybe they were having a bad day but still should treat customers with a little smile and respect! Golf course was ok, pace of play not great 4hr 30min
Not very inviting!
Quite disappointed with customer service. Pro shop personnel acted like I was a bother for showing up! Do I need a slip for starter? No...just go! Starter was a dick! So sad! Go to Eagle Nest....they know what Southern hospitality is all about....also a much nicer course!
Nice course to play. It was a surprise
Course was a surprise to play and enjoyable. Tee blocks need a little work, starting to look worn out. Need a cart person out on the course especially on warm days.
Nice place
First time playing the course. Staff are friendly and helpful. Course was In good shape and the greens rolled very well. Very good driving range and putting green. The 19th hole had good hot dogs, cold beer and very reasonable prices.
A little drive from MB but great value for the price. Definitely will return.
Very enjoyable
Very friendly staff. Driving range is grass - a bit sparse but overall good. Excellent putting green - make sure you note the grain transitions as it represents the course.
Course was in good shape and greens were very good and rolled true. There are a couple of holes where water and hazards are a bit hidden. Lookfor the hazard marking flags, prior to a hidden shot.
First time playing and we all enjoyed the course and found it to be great value. Was not very crowded and moved along at a good pace.
