Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.

Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.

Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.

"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

Poor shape

I like just about any course but this one could use some attention on the fairways and greens

Nice good value course

We enjoyed the course. The pace of play was slow as one of our golfcarts broke down amd we had to let 3 groups go through while we waited for a new golf cart.

Aliante

Everything was going quite well and on pace to play in 315 or 3.5 hours. Except when we got to the 12th Tee our cart broke down. I called the shop and told them the cart is on the 12th Tee and I'm going to walk and continue to play. Got to 14 Tee and still no cart so I called again. Finally on #15 new cart arrives driven by a fairly angry employee letting us know the other cart worked fine so we must NOT know how to drive. So this was not good. Also charged $29 for a non-playing rider and no range balls included in green fee. Do Better.

A Real Golf Club

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the golfing haven that is Aliante Golf Club, and I am delighted to share my overwhelmingly positive impressions. From the moment I set foot on the meticulously maintained grounds to the final putt on the 18th hole, Aliante exceeded all expectations.
One of the standout features of Aliante is its stunning course design, which seamlessly blends the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape with an engaging and challenging layout. The course offers the perfect balance for golfers of all skill levels, providing both novices and seasoned players with a gratifying and enjoyable round. Now that the growing season has passed, the Bermuda grass is dormant, which means of course the fairways are running firm and fast. The greens, however, are thriving, and they’re spectacular, bent grass in the desert! Players will have to control their wedges to keep balls from sucking off the greens.
The attention to detail extends beyond the course itself. The clubhouse exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where the staff's friendliness is matched only by their professionalism. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like a valued guest, ready to assist with any inquiries and ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.
The practice areas are well-equipped, allowing golfers to fine-tune their skills before hitting the course. Additionally, the on-site restaurant offers a delectable array of culinary delights, providing the perfect way to unwind and relish in the post-round camaraderie.
In conclusion, Aliante Golf Club is a gem in the world of golf. Whether you're a casual golfer seeking a relaxing day on the course or a seasoned pro looking for a challenging round, Aliante delivers on all fronts. I wholeheartedly recommend this golf club to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable golfing experience. Aliante Golf Club has earned its reputation as a favorite destination for golfers, and I look forward to returning for another round soon.

Unfortunate set of circumstances

Cart battery died on 3rd hole. Took 20+ min before we got another cart to us. Had a 3some cut in front of us(2some), around hole 7 and slowed everything down even more. Back 9 took 3 hours.

Ruined by Bachelor Party

First time playing the course. Loved the conditions, layout and price. Hated that we were behind a bachelor party and guys were playing as a sixsome. We called the Pro Shop and they got out and broke it up. But the pace of play was still horrible. 5 hour and 5 minutes to play the 18. A shame because if we could have played in our typical 4:15, we'd have rated it 5 stars. As it was, the pace was too annoying. I do think we'll be back however, as hopefully it was a one time bad luck event for us.
