About
The Duke at Rancho El Dorado is a championship, 18-hole golf facility designed by David Druzinsky. This desert links style course offer generous fairways and a scenic view of the natural desert sage and brush surrounding. The difficulty lies in the slope of putting green so golfers beware.
The Duke at Rancho El Dorado is a par-72 golf course that measures 7,011 yards from the back tees.
After a round on the Duke at Rancho El Dorado, head to Silver Spur Grill for breakfast, lunch or dinner on the patio, which offers vistas of the Estrella Mountains as well as that 18th hole you just wrapped up on.

Excellent course
Played for first time, greens and fairways were excellent, rough not penal and actually green!
Areas around greens also in great shape...good lies everywhere on grass...and I was all over the course!
Speedy Round @ Duke
We got moved up in our time as someone didn't arrive. We sped around the course for 3.5 hrs. Love the layout with the variety of holes - good desert course.
Duke review
Great practice facility, grass driving range, large chipping and putting greens. Fairways and greens in good shape. Perimeter is rough desert like conditions, to be expected. One of the better price point courses I have found as many others have gotten stupid expensive !
great course
Have played this course many times over the years, can be a challenge however the lay out of this course on some of the holes can cause a player to over cook shots. Lay-up can be your friend.
Greens were pretty rough. Had to go through a river to get to one of the holes in your golf cart course. Need a lot more. Attention in certain areas not worth $100

We have played The Duke for many years now. It is unfortunate how the pricing has increased, especially this year. I wish they had a better Starter arrangement. The guys at the checkin seem to serve as the starter, but they don't announce anything. The last couple of times we played there has been confusion on the 1st tee. When I checked with the starter about 15 minutes before our tee time, he told us we could go. Then, as we were teeing up, another group drove up and insisted they were before us, which my tee time, they were. This happened last year too. The starter needs to be on the first tee box to control the flow. Pace of place was a little over 4.5 hrs with short waits on almost every hole.
Beautiful AZ Day
Course is in the best shape in the 10 years we've been here. Wife and I and 7/9 year old's played yesterday morning and finished in 4 hour 10 min. Staff was friendly and food was good although service was a little slow, but it was a packed restaurant. Definitely will be back.
There was a lot of water on the course overflowing onto cart patches and places not normally filled with water, not their problem I don’t think but hazardous.
Still good time for us
fun round of golf with family
Golf course was in fair condition...fairways were a little sparse ,absolutely no rough on course.....bunkers are being redone with nice white sand....
Duke has gone downhill!
If you want to wait on every hole(no rangers), hit onto greens that don't hold are painted and full of ball marks, ride in carts that are filthy and spend 5 hours to play 18 holes then the Duke is the course for you! I have played here for years....not anymore.
