The Duke at Rancho El Dorado
About
The Duke at Rancho El Dorado is a championship, 18-hole golf facility designed by David Druzinsky. This desert links style course offer generous fairways and a scenic view of the natural desert sage and brush surrounding. The difficulty lies in the slope of putting green so golfers beware.
The Duke at Rancho El Dorado is a par-72 golf course that measures 7,011 yards from the back tees.
After a round on the Duke at Rancho El Dorado, head to Silver Spur Grill for breakfast, lunch or dinner on the patio, which offers vistas of the Estrella Mountains as well as that 18th hole you just wrapped up on.

Pretty good shape
Easy to find easy check in. Tends to be costly. Water buckets for towels. Pretty good carts with sand bottles and ice in chests. Water on course for us. Tees pretty good shape. Fairways nice roughs at least have some grass. Bunkers are playable. Greens with few straight putts and fairly fast. We played in 4 1/2 hrs but because on Thursday there is a men’s league that was not very fast that plays in the morning. Will try to go back but not on Thursday and only when cost is down
Nice
We have played The Duke a couple times a year for several years now. We have found the conditions to be good most times. As long as we can get tee times for $75 or less, we will continue to enjoy this course. The biggest problem is that it always seems to stack up on holes 15-16-17.
Fun round
Fairway’s and greens were in good shape, no carts on fairways still in affect. Will return to play again great value at GN price!
Nice Greens
I have been golfing at The Duke for several years and they have this course in great shape. The greens are putting very nice as the new winter grass is growing in nicely. Fairways are still a bit wet but we all know it's necessary. Good job to all the staff! Pleasant place to play. Good conditions!
Fun time
Employees at the course are nice. Round was 4:!5, so fairly fast. Fun course, interesting holes, nice layout. Pretty open but has difficulty if you do not play to the proper spot.
Solid course
Fairways were in great shape as carts are not allowed. Greens were rolling true. Fun will return
Customer NO Service
Outside people the worst
Ignored me all together. I finally put my clubs on a cart and went to the tee when my time came. Not a word spoken to me. I would have went to the wrong tees if I hadn't over heard somebody say they were starting on the back nine. Cart lady very rude when I asked for a alcohol free beverage. There was no Marshall on course to enforce pace of play. Just a HORRIBLE day.
