Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club
Silverado Golf Course welcomes all skill levels of golfer, but more advanced players will find the course pleasant but perhaps not as challenging as they would like. Located next to a bike trail that runs through much of Scottsdale, the course provides excellent views. While playing, golfers can enjoy vistas of the surrounding desert landscape as well as the Camelback and Mummy Mountains. A notable hole is the par-3 18th hole, not only for the gorgeous backdrop provided by the mountains but also its difficulty level. From its elevated tee, golfers get a good visual of the hole including the water and strategically placed bunkers that surround it.

Fun Course and Nice Staff but not a great value
Played Silverado for the first time today. An interesting layout and a fun course. The staff was very friendly as well. The biggest downside to me was the course condition specifically the fairway condition. Most of the fairways and rough are not very lush with grass including large areas where there’s no grass at all and you are playing off of hard ground or in areas where it’s been watered hard mud essentially. For $70 that is simply not worth the money when there are so many other courses around the valley with similar or cheaper greens fees that are offering much better course condition.
A little disappointing
We’ve played Silverado before and really enjoyed it. This time not so much. The Bermuda wasn’t grown in, was cut short and so the fairways were bald. Coupled with an early tee time and we played in mud for most of the round. The rates aren’t too bad but for my money I wouldn’t go back for a few weeks until they get the course in better shape. Played with two other golfers who play Silverado frequently and they commented it was not up to par as well. The staff was great.
Front nine condition
Front nine was recently scalped, So fairways were difficult to hit off of. Back nine was done first, so fairways were in better shape.
A Must Play!
This was an excellent day of golf!
Just now finding this hidden gem... the course, the staff, the protocols / professionalism, and always a smile!
Did i mention the 112 days of Summer deal??
Love it! You must try out this course!
A hidden gem
I have lived in the area for over 25 years and never knew this course existed. A great surprise to finally play it and realize this hidden gem is only three minutes from my home.
Just enough challenge to be I interesting and fun.
Faster than I expected
Parking lot was overflowing. I assumed a five hour day. 3 hours and 45 minutes we were done. It’s a nice course.
No challenge but great staff
The fairways are in great shape, the greens are not. Very very bumpy and slow. Good course for a beginner. Staff is super friendly.
Course is wide open so beginner golfers will be ok. Only down side is no driving range. Price was a little high for what course has to offer.
Really friendly staff - very welcoming upon arrival. Fair layout, somewhat forgiving off the tee, so if you hit it well you can play a nice round, which is great. Pace of play at 7:45am on a hot April day was 3:35! Would play again any time.
This is a nice easy 18 hole course in central Scottsdale. Unfortunately they have tee times too close together so slow play and waits between holes and in some cases between shots. They did have beverage cart and food service available.
Another great round
Amazing service with this crew! I wish every course operated like this team!
Great Course for the Money
I had played this course twice in mid December and love the course and the Staff is very friendly, but of course they raise the prices during peak season, as they should. I found a hot deal and am glad I did. The course is in great shape as are the greens.
Kudos to the Staff. I walked the front 9 and was going to walk the back 9 as well (I forgot how long and distant the holes and tee boxes are). The course Marshal stopped me as I exited the 9th green and asked if I was sure I wanted to walk the back 9. I was unsure and he advised they would bring a cart out to me. As it got to 100 today, I am thankful they brought the cart out to me.
Thank you very much. Very enjoyable round of golf and I golfed with the nicest couple from Michigan.
Great Day of Golf
The staff was very friendly, we never had to wait in a tee box, and the course was in great condition. On top of that the food that we had on the course was excellent. All around a great experience.
I absolutely love Silverado. The staff is extremely friendly, And the course itself is so well taken care of. It’s a bit on the short side only being 6,300 from the tips, and the fairways are hard to miss as they are very large and open. Really fun course. I would definitely recommend. 5/5 stars
This course is always in excellent shape and the staff is outstanding. I will always recommend this course as a preferred course.
Thanks you Silverado!
