Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club
About
Silverado Golf Course welcomes all skill levels of golfer, but more advanced players will find the course pleasant but perhaps not as challenging as they would like. Located next to a bike trail that runs through much of Scottsdale, the course provides excellent views. While playing, golfers can enjoy vistas of the surrounding desert landscape as well as the Camelback and Mummy Mountains. A notable hole is the par-3 18th hole, not only for the gorgeous backdrop provided by the mountains but also its difficulty level. From its elevated tee, golfers get a good visual of the hole including the water and strategically placed bunkers that surround it.

Owner problems
Owner of the course played a 5 some. Slowed down play dramatically. I went to the pro shop and asked to reserve a 5 some. They said they don’t allow that. So now i’ll go somewhere else. Nice job Mr Big.
Just ok
Open course with lots of room for missed shots off tee. Greens were not in good shape and sand was also bad. Fairways rolled so you got that benefit working for you on miss hits too. All in probably would just play a cheaper course for that quality.
It was... fine
The course is fine. Super hard and dry which makes the course play very short. We played $90 for twilight amount. It's hard to believe this is the type of course that warrants over $120 for a standard tee time. It's very mediocre quality. The staff and all was very nice.
Fabulous course. A must play !
Course was well kept !
Staff was friendly and helpful
We will be playing again this week.
Agonizingly slow
We even called the clubhouse to complain. The Marshall came out but did not change. We could see one of the slowest groups 5 holes ahead and one was on his cell phone. What should have been 4 hours was 4 hours 45 minutes
Over priced golf course
The course was in horrible conditions and given the cost it is not worth the money they charge. There are much better choices for the same kind of money.
Golf with freinds
Great layout and friendly fairways made for a great round for mid to high handicappers.
Just enough challenges to make for an interesting round
Enjoyed by all. Greens were very true and made for easy straight putts .
Dried out
Course was very dry, fairways were brutal. Only a couple of holes were in decent shape.
Way to expensive for the poor quality course that it is.
Avoid! Cement fairways and bunkers
Was in town for a few days and decided to play one extra round of golf. We settled on Silverado based on proximity, reviews, and availability for our specific tee time. There were plenty of times available even a day or 2 before but it was a mistake. It was about $150 a round for some of the worst conditions. The folks on the course are nice but I would not play here ever again. First, they do maintainence during the day while you’re playing. Want to tee off or hit a shot from the fairway? Wait for the grounds team to move their machines and carts. This was the case for the front 9 the day I went which was unbelievable. The fairways and course condition was just as tragic. The fairways are cement so if you usually take divots, you likely will need a cast on your wrist or elbow after your round. Sand traps were terrible. Hard sand and not enough sand. My leading wrist was in extreme pain after 5 holes. Don’t be fooled by the aesthetics of how they directionally mow their fairways.
Some of the holes are behind each other so for some holes you’d have to drive the cart a few minutes just to get to the next hole. The layout was weird and there are public trails that run through the course so be careful of random bikers or people on skates cruising by.
Skip this course and play somewhere else
