fun round

Second time playing EF, can't say enough about this course. Most holes are pretty much separate form the other holes, so you feel like it's just you and the hole. Course conditions were fine for this time of year, they do leave the rough brownish and short which helps. Many scenic holes through out the course. There are several blind shots so be careful. There is lots of potential to loose balls, a straight game is helpful. Cart lady was always around for those in need. No big fancy club house which is fine, put the $$ into the course. Very good practice range, sort of small putting green. My one knock on the course the day I played was the greens were SLOOOW, which made for some very difficult putting.

Eagle Falls

Rode the Hawk tees (6140/70.0/127) in 4H, 15M with Sbogey and Bob mid day. Thanks to Steve for setting up a fun round! $70 was fair for this course. The weather was WINDY, hazy and in the low 80's.

Tees lush and well maintained. No challenges with level lies.

Both the fairways and rough were lush and nice to play from. Rough was maintained low, fairways cut tight. On most holes, if you miss the fairway, you hope the rough catches it, because there are native areas that they play like a water hazard penalty where your ball is likely gone.

Sand traps good to play from. Well maintained with good quality sand with rakes in the traps.

Many greens had some pin placements where you could expect some fairly severe breaks. They putted medium fast speed and were firm with few ball marks.

Customer service was exceptional. Cart staff is great. Quick, efficient check-in with the pro shop. No drink cart today. Complementary range balls on an all grass range and bottled water are included with your golf fees. The carts were newer with advanced GPS including a video tour of each hole with tips on how to best play the hole.

Really fun par 72 layout. Three par 3's, three par 5's and twelve par 4's. Excellent mixture of risk reward, medium and longer par 4's. Definitely keeps things interesting. There is also a generous amount of water hazards on this course. Almost no holes where penalty shots are not just waiting to jump up and bite you on anything crooked. Course was in excellent shape, highly recommended.

A little overpriced

Prices have gone up and it was not in as good of condition as previously. Tee boxes, greens and bunkers were in good condition however fairways were cut to low making second shots more difficult.
I would play again depending on the price, but felt it was a little overpriced.

Eagle Falls

Rode the Eagle tees (6715/72.8/133) in 3H, 55M with Shaunstorm123 mid morning. Thanks to Shaun for setting up a fun round! The weather was hazy, muggy, fairly calm and around 110 when we finished.

Really fun layout, par 72.

Bermuda tees were lush and well maintained. No challenges with level lies.

Both the Bermuda fairways and rough were lush with occasional brown patches. VERY good considering they will be over seeding soon.

Sand traps were okay, the only part of the course not well above average. First course I have played in over 6 months that had rakes in the traps.

Bermuda greens putted medium speed and were firm with few ball marks. Many greens had some pin placements where you could expect some fairly severe breaks.

The customer service was exceptional. Cart staff is great. Quick, efficient check-in with the pro shop. Drink cart around several times. Complementary range balls and bottled water are included with your golf fees. The carts were newer with advanced GPS including a video tour of each hole with tips on how to best play the hole. The course was in excellent late summer condition overall. Definitely recommended.

Doesn't get the recognition it deserves

The course really doesn't get the recognition like some of it's bigger brothers to the west. It's the last course you'll hit before heading out to the river and Phoenix. Hidden behind the casino, you really wouldn't know it existed unless someone told you it was there. The clubhouse is a small trailer next to a small parking lot. But once you cross the bridge over to the driving range, you experience something totally different. The range is small, but well maintained. I've been doing a lot of golfing in the desert this spring and early summer, and the conditions of the course were as good, if not better, than anything I've golfed in the area. The course is a little short, at 6700 yards from the tips. But most holes require shot accuracy as fairways tend to be narrow, and wayward shots usually end up lost in the surrounding brush. Bunkers abound on the a lot of holes, and water comes into play on a couple. Overall, a strong course that is well worth the play.

Slow Shaggy Greens

Wonderful layout and beautiful fairways and tee boxes but the green conditions are the downside that left something to be desired in the round. Very slow and bumpy. Like molasses and Velcro. I felt they were the slowest greens I’ve played the last few weeks throughout the valley. Putts just didn’t roll out even downhill. If they improve green conditions to a reasonable speed, this would be a fantastic course and I’d love to come back.

Pleasantly Surprised

Have heard some good things about this track so decided to see for myself if they were true. Driving up to the club house, you'll wonder if coming here was a good idea. Not much in the parking lot except a small trailer for a pro shop and a garage in the back for carts. Checked in and was pointed toward the bridge. Once on the other side, was put more at ease about coming. The driving range and practice green are small, but well maintained. The Starter was personable and got us out right on time. The course is about 6700 from the tips, so not exceptionally long. However, fairways tend to be narrow, so accuracy is important. Native areas are abundant around fairways. Water only comes into play on a couple holes. However, sand traps are abundant. Course conditions were super and put against anything in the PS area! No dry, wet, or dead areas to be found anywhere. Greens were pristine and rolled true and a little on the fast side. All in all, this track, which doesn't get much fanfare or attention, is well worth the play, and would put up against any of the other popular public tracks in the area. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

One of the best out there

Finally I was able to play this course last 8/29. Great bang for the money - with cart and range balls too. Started at 7:15AM and the weather was good. Played with a couple of senior gentlemen and had great fun. The course was great overall with a certain amount of difficulty. Well placed bunkers and the greens were perfect. Hopefully, I can play this course again. Simply beautiful.

Nicest Course I've Ever Played

I have had the pleasure to play many wonderful courses, from Plantation, to Trump National, to Monarch Beach. That being said, Eagle Falls has officially made it to the nicest course I have ever played. I stay at a resort next to Terra Lago and have always played that course. This time, I wanted to venture out a bit. My Brother and I teed off at 7:08 and the temperature was around 85 degrees. Took us 3 hours and 15 minutes to finish. Every single aspect of the course was top notch. Practice facilities to the greens, everything looked and played like it was ready to host a PGA event. The only gripe(if there must be one) is that the clubhouse is a trailer. However, the Casino is right there. I will 100% be making this a "must play" when we come to the desert!

beautiful course

This used to be an expensive course, but many other courses in the valley have upped their rates during prime season, and Eagle Falls has not (yay). The staff are friendly, there is a good practice facility, and the course is well laid out. However the 'pro shop' is a trailer; the on-course restrooms are also very 'shack-like' and you have to be wary of snakes in them. Pace of play can be slow, and the on-course Marshalls don't tend to help out much with that. Played in the spring of 2019 and the course is in very good shape.

Eagle Falls

Played the Eagle tees (6715/72.8/133) in 4H, 20M with rudyclub and lotrgolfer48. Thank to Tim & Matt for a fun round! The weather was in the 90's, overcast with little wind.

There were many individual holes that I really like on this course. Par 72. Three par 3's, three par 5's and TWELVE par 4's. Excellent mixture of risk reward, medium and longer par 4's. so it's keeps things interesting. The course was in excellent late summer condition overall.
They do not offer twilight rates here, same price AD.

The tee were lush and well maintained. no challenges with level lies.

Both the fairways and rough were lush with occasional bare patches. VERY good considering they will be over seeding soon.

The sand traps were just okay, the only part of the course not well above average. It is a challenge with the wind to keep an adequate amount of sand in traps on the north side of I-10.

The greens putted medium speed and were firm with few ball marks. Many greens had some pin placements where you could expect some fairly severe breaks.

If you missed the fairway, you hoped the rough caught it, because most holes have native areas that they play like a water hazard penalty where your ball is likely gone. There is also a generous amount of water hazards on this course, there are almost no holes where penalty shots are not just waiting to jump up and bite you on anything crooked.

The customer service was exceptional. The starter was very organized and on top of things, the groups were going off on time like clockwork. They have your name and tee time printed up waiting for you on the carts. There was a staff of cart people who transported your clubs from/to the parking lot and cleaned them after the round. Both the Marshall and drink cart were very present throughout the round. Complementary range balls are included with your golf fees. The carts were newer with advanced GPS including a video tour of each hole with tips on how to best play the hole.

Definitely recommended.

What a hidden gem

This golf course is a bit hidden from view located behind a casino. It only has a trailer as a clubhouse (although it is part of the very large adjacent casino, so you could say that the hotel/casino serves as its clubhouse). The course is great shape for the middle of the summer. (they actually maintain the bunkers here unlike most courses in the desert that just seem to let the go). This course is visually stunning from nearly every tee-box. The green complexes are just awesome and the holes a treat to play. We were very well taken care of all the course employees who went over and above to make us feel welcome. I will be back to play here for sure, again and again. (It has an outstanding practice facility as well)

A must play great course

This course is in great shape any time of the year. Greens are challenging but don't break quite as much as they look. Tees and fairways are well kept. Staff is great and very friendly. The course can get a little backed up on weekends but the marshals keep it moving.
You can pick any challenge you want. The tips are waaay back but the white and gold set up for us average guys and the lady's have two tees as well.
If you live in the Valley or just visiting you must play this course. It's a little ride from Palm Springs but worth it.
