Good day
As discussed.. tee blocks and greens in great shape but fairways need some water
We’d play this one again!
Lots of challenges , great greens and an all around pleasant experience. On our replay list!
Improved
Have played here several times this year and it has been constantly improving.
Course improving
Last couple years, maintenance conditions at the course had fallen downhill. Have noticed an improvement from last year. Keep up your efforts and return your course up to the beautiful course it was.
Pleasantly surprised
We played here yesterday after a 2 year hiatus due to the very poor conditions. Needless to say there has been a big change for the better on the course. Tee boxes and greens were outstanding and the fairways are really coming along, the only downside are the bunkers. They need a lot of work especially the ones on the par 3’s as they are hard as a rock. We will definitely add this course to our regular rotation now. Great work guys!
Don't pay full price
I wouldn't pay full price for this course. This course is worth around $40. Don't pay $60 plus.
Great improvements
Course is greatly improved. Greens are great
Tee boxes are nice . Fairways would need some work but looks like work is being done
Overall it’s much better than last year and would definitely play again.
Improving Slowly
Silverthorn is a local course that has struggled with course conditions for many years. They have the tees and greens looking pretty good with winter grasses. The fairways still have lots of bare issues throughout the course. The traps all need major work to get the course back in better playing shape tee to green.
I enjoy the layout of this course and I’m hopeful the owner will invest in the maintenance of the course to get it back to previous years condition.
Getting better every round
I’m saying the course is getting better every round I play. Unfortunately I have not gotten any better but the course is an absolute pleasure to play. Will be back weekly hopefully. Good job, keep it going
Vastly improved, outstanding greens
Silverthorn had had some bad reviews but we read that it had improved so we tried it. I can honestly say these are some of the best greens in the area. I Hearn they are working on irrigation and that will help the rest of the course, but still very playable. Excellent value for the money.
To expensive
This was a really good course until they doubled their price
Course conditions going down
Third time playing but the fairways and bunkers are deteriorating. Will not play again this season.
Good value
Greens were perfect but some fairways had less grass than others, some sandy areas on fairways
