Puddles and Close Calls
The course doesn’t have good drainage, so I would definitely wait a week or two after it rains to play on here. Besides that, the layout of the course is terrible. We had a lot of close calls with balls flying in all directions and people from other holes hitting their ball from our hole.
Thanks for the 4-Stars!

Another great day
Great check-in and helpful starter
All fairways in great shape. But 2.
Greens most all excellent or goo.
Layout is interesting and challenging.
Very little high rough so is forgiving .
Play 2 times per month.
Great time to play before winter rains create problems.
Thanks for the 4-Stars and nice comments about our course. Hopefully the winter is a bit more mild than last year!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 4-Star rating!

Looks like we fell short of your expectations based on your 2-Star rating. We are constantly trying to improve and be better, hopefully you will give us another chance to meet your expectations!

Thank you for the 5-Star rating!
I am not thinking about repeat play here.
All courses were flat and short in distance, making them suitable for beginners.
The waiting time at each hole was long, and it took about 5 hours and 20 minutes for 18 holes.
Our course is certainly a bit on the shorter side making a great place for someone newer to the game. Meadowlark was built in 1922 and it's difficulty comes from our very small, undulating greens. Looking forward to another chance to show you a great day at the Lark!
Thanks for the 4-Stars!
Course has made some good improvements
The course was pretty rough 6 months ago but they have made some great improvements to the cart paths and the overall course conditions. I would love for them to cut/ roll the greens a little more. When we played the greens were rolling at about an 8 this course would get all 5 stars if they could improve their green speeds as well as the bunker sand. All in all a good orange county course with reasonable prices for the area. The food offered at the course is also fantastic which is always a plus in my book.
Thank you so much for the positive feedback and 4-Star rating! We've been working hard to make Meadowlark as great as we know it can be and continue to make improvements every day. See you out on the links again soon!
Nice 1/2 Round
I have played Meadowlark a few times and I like the course. However, the pace of play on a Saturday is so slow that a round of golf is simply not enjoyable. There is simply not enough time between foursomes in order to avoid really long wait times on every hole. Three hours to play 9 holes is absurd. We paid for 18 holes but couldn’t justify over 6 hours on the course plus our commute time.
So sorry to hear about the pace you encountered during your round. We've been working hard on creating a better pace of play and hope you give us another shot!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 3-Star rating. Unfortunately our course does not have drainage built in which leaves some wet conditions at times. We do our best to adjust our watering to ensure we are only adding necessary water to areas. Come play a round in the afternoon or during the summer to see a drier side of Meadowlark.
