Rolling Oaks is one of two championship courses at World Woods Golf Club. The layout offers something completely different from the renowned Pine Barrens course at the club, but it still offers the same amount of challenge and quality. The golf course is named after its landscape of rolling hills and forests of centuries old Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Lush, rolling fairways lead to undulating greens that are protected by sharply defined, white sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The golf course has a traditional design but the dramatic elevation changes and picturesque landscape covered in azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolia trees really make it stand out. In addition to the two golf courses, World Woods also offers a nine-hole practice course and a circular, 20-acre driving range with target greens and practice bunkers.

This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343 on 11/16/2013

Better than Pine Barrens
I play World Woods as my home course..... count me as very lucky.... The reality is that so many people think that playing Rolling Oaks is a step down from the "named course" at World Woods ... Pine Barrens but the reality is Rolling Oaks is a much harder track.... This "ugly step sister" is instead the better of the two choices..... Hard, hilly, and very provocative… she is not easily tamed even to the last hole…. She will bite you back when you least expect it. Sure sometimes she has some rough edges but that makes her just a little more wild and exciting when you are trying to tame her.... The staff is great..... The cart girls are super.... Relax... Have fun.... and enjoy life on a course with no houses.
Keep Hoping for More
The continued decline of World Woods is very disappointing. What was once a top place to play has now become an overpriced average course. I keep returning hoping to see a glimpse of its former glory. I hear they may be under new ownership maybe that will bring some positive change. POSITIVE- staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Player Player
If you want a real challenge play from the green or back tees. You will get to see a lot more of the course.
Thirsty thirsty!
Played on 86 sunny day. #1 complaint. 1 cart person for 2-18 s . We got thirsty for adult beverage!!! Group in front 3 guys playing 2 women ride alongs. Women looking for balls every hole ,taking pics. Ugh! Slowed play! For facility that has fantastic golf course. Amenities lacking. Hurt the whole experience.
Nice
The greens weren;t as good as the ones on Pine.
They should have a ranger out to keep the pace of play up. Two foursomes in front of us were holding up tremendously, Ruined my round of golf
The course was in great shape for this time of the year The layout of the course is very good.
Always fun
I always enjoy both courses at world woods. This round on Rolling oaks was great as we didn’t see another group until hole 16. No waiting. No holdups. For a Sunday afternoon with 70 degree weather, that is amazing. Greens were a little slower but rolled true.
Great Track
Fun course and in pretty decent shape. Worth the drive from Orlando .
When I am in town this is the home course. its never in bad shape. been playing here for over 15yrs and I can honestly say ive see it in bad shape only 1 time. must play when in town. this one or Pine Barrens
Good course, needs TLC and Rangers
Brutally long 5 1/2 hour round. Interesting course (played for black tees) but really really slow on the back 9. Par3s had 3 groups waiting on the tee box.
The greens are getting better
Play about 6 months ago and the greens at Rolling Oaks were terrible. They overbooked the course so badly we had to get a rainchack took us 3 hours to play 9 holes.
I'm happy to report that the ace of play was much better and the greens are coming back I'm happy to see the golf course Bouncing back
It's a phenomenal layout with a awesome staff and beverage team.
there are no houses on the golf course and it's extremely peaceful and quiet.
Keep up the great work.
