One of my favorites
Friendly staff. Course is in great shape. 19th hole has terrific tacos and beverages. All adds to a great experience.
Love this course
This place is great. The course, the people, the amenities. Highly recommend.
When it comes to golf, I know all the golf. I’ve played every golf course I’ve been to and this was a good golf course. Other golf courses. Average at best. But this course was a course of course. Ask anybody. This course trumps them all. Also, the logo looks like a goat is mounting a lion with a snake in its backside.
One of the best in Las Vegas area
Excellent condition. Good staff. Reasonably priced. Nice layout.
Great time with friends even with. The 30mph wind. Fairways were wide enough to contain some of our wind affected errant shots and greens rolled true. Great views ,nice selection of shots needed and everyone was friendly.
Nice - I would go back
Well kept and looking good relative to several other "good" courses I have played in the LV area. Many have been hit by the winter freeze but this course seemed to recover and they were working it extensively. Wide open fairways, easy bump and runs up to the greens, a couple of challenges but not many. Almost all grass - very little arroyo or desert landscape. - this is a great course for the average relaxed game.
Great course, fantastic value
Love the layout. Forgiving but still challenging enough to be fun. Course conditions are truly fantastic and the locals twilight rate is just stupid good value for this course
Tee'd off at 11:44 A.M. Course was in really good condition. Greens as usual a little slow. Weather was perfect 63 degrees and no wind. Pace was perfect as well. Not always the case can be a little bit slow most other times.. Finished round approx. 4:00 P..M.
Best in Vegas so far
Have played for course so far on this trip and this has been the best the best
Pleasantly surprised by this course. Paid less than $40 to play, and it was worth every penny. We were on vacation and found this course on golfnow, and glad we played it.
Golf is hard enough as it is, and when you play a course for the first time, it can make things even harder. But this course was very straight forward, with very little forced carries and friendly greens. Even when you miss the green, there are usually opportunities to get up and down quite often. My wife was my playing partner and for the most part, she enjoyed the course, so its pretty friendly for women.
Conditions were fantastic even though it was quite cold. Tee boxes were in great shape, and fairways were lush. The only knock would be that the greens were a little on the slower side, running at what felt like less than 10. They still rolled true, but slightly slower than what I was expecting. This didn't make the course any less enjoyable; I am just used to faster greens.
Overall, this is a great course for out of towners to play because it is quite friendly (70.3/122 rating/slope from the serpent tees). Nothing worse that a course that just beats you up hole after hole. This course lets you play simple golf that isn't a brutal test. I plan on coming back.
Probably one of the best courses i have played in 10 years. We paid the resident rate since we are new to Vegas and for the rate the course was in great condition. Found the course to be challenging as well as very forgiving. Though it was a cold morning so we couldn’t drive on the fairway until around 9am, but the fairways were in great shape making every fairway hit almost like hitting of a mat at the driving range. Would definitely play again just hopefully it’s a bit warmer outside.
The course has good layout
The course layout is good for b & high handicap players, challenging but not too difficult to post a good round. The fairways are in excellent conditions putting surface are nice.
Great course in excellent condition
I found a knockout local price on Golf Now. My only major gripe was that they had no golf balls for the range and I spent the first four holes as my warm up. Pace of play was a little slow, we got to 17 at the 4:10 mark and it was dark, so we didn't get to play 18.
The course is in excellent condition, the GPS with warnings and food ordering capability was a great bonus. The course set up is great with water in play on a few holes with some forced carries and blind shots. I would definitely play hear again if I found that price again.
Great course overall
Course was well designed, tee boxes, fairways and greens in great shape. Pace of play was excellent. Played for $50 and was well with it.
Great course if you don't mind the drive
This course is a bit of a hidden gem. It's about a 20-25 minute ride from the strip and the course is worth the trip. The entrance is tucked away in a gated community and there is plenty of room for warm-up, including a practice green and a chipping/pitching area. The staff is very friendly and welcoming for newbies. Pace was great, and the course was in very good shape. The fairways are generous and greens are forgiving. Not necessarily the most challenging course, but it there are some holes that can be a bit tricky.
Great Golf Value
Very nice, well maintained course. Typical resort type course but very enjoyable. I'll play again.
