Great Golf Experience
Our 18 holes on the Canyon Course were just great! A challenging track but as I always say you should play a new course once before you really play it. The staff was the best in the business. My wife and I inadvertently left some of our clubs on Tucson and the golf shop staff loaned us replacements at no cost in the blink of an eye.
GREAT JOB , Oasis!
Great course, in great condition
Oasis offers two options. Canyons and Palmer. Palmer is the prettier yet more difficult of the two. Don't get me wrong, Canyons is also difficult, but Palmer is pretty draining at how well you have to play. Canyons seems to be designed more around housing and it's got some weird instances where you gotta cross 4 lane roads, which seems kind of risky if there's heavy car traffic. They layout is pretty nice and challenging. The back 9 seemed to be more forgiving to me, as I lost a lot of balls in the front nine. The course was in tremendous shape tee to green, zero complaints. If you have the chance of only playing one course, I would play Palmer since it has more spectacular views and challenging holes. Canyons has more of a resort feel type course. But if you have the chance to play both like I did, I recommend you give both the Palmer and Canyons a try. By the way, this course is pretty adamant about keeping pace of play, so if you play in a slow group, get ready to hear from the staff to pick the pace up, which I like because I'm not a fan of slow rounds.
Challenging and fun!
Efficient from the start!
Playing conditions were very good!
Pace of play was pleasant!
Excellent day!
Nice course!
I booked on GOLFNOW. An early tee time was available. While on 10, unbeknownst to me, the ladies scramble surrounded us and play slowed tremendously. Aside from that it was great.
Fun coarse
Playing layout is fun. Greens still have excess of sand still from being punched wasn’t aware or told Another week and should be playing pretty nice.
Great shape
Tees greens and fairways all in great shape .. Pace of play was ok on afternoon we played... We're able to finish 18 teeing off before 300pm... Regular rate send expensive for this course but a good value as a hot deal on golf now
Tough course but fair
Greens rolled nice.. Good speed but not crazy fast.... Fairways in good shape.... Loss of undulations and elevation changes..... Great value as a hot deal on GN
Sweet surprise
I was not expecting this nice of an experience. The course was in great shape and everyone was friendly. There are some very fun and challenging holes and We loved the course layout. We will definitely golf this one again when down this way.
First visit will be back
Loved this course and super glad the 4th had played there before. There was a hole or two where you had blind shots to the green and more info was good. Signage as to where to go was minimal and could use some adds but really enjoyed our day out
Slowest Round Ever
Great course ... excellent conditions (tees, fairways, greens) ... beautiful canyon layout with lots of elevation change, with some holes adjacent to Wolf Creek ... this course a poor man's Wolf Creek if you will. I have never played a slower round ... had to quit at 11 holes ... would have run out of daylight ... on pace for something like a 6 hour round. Disappointing pace of play ... would have loved to finish playing all 18 holes that I paid for.
