Rude course management
As usual the management at this course treats people rudely. If you arrive 15 minutes prior to your tee time they tell you you're too early for a cart, and to come back 5 minutes before tee time. This happens even if there is nobody ahead of you on he first tee.
Don’t waste your time
Terrible course....overbooked and very slow. We ended up doing 9 holes in 2.5 hours and left after nine. The course was in such bad shape it wasn’t worth the wait. Go to another course. Even the fries were bad.
Three days made a world of difference
We played this course three days ago after the rains and then today, what a world of difference. The course dried out great and the greens were twice as fast. They did a great job. It was windy but very enjoyable. Great golf experience.
The Rains are gone
The rain was gone but the course was still draining, so it was pretty wet, cart paths only. Tee boxes were mushy. The greens were in great shape but had not been mowed for couple of days and were slow.
Each time I play this course I have a great time. It’s just challenging enough to have a good time. Golfed with a wonderful couple from Canada.... outstanding day!
Great day and the Course was in quite good condition considering all of the Hot and lately Rain it received. Pace of play was very good and we finished in 4 hours.
The weather was great with a lot of golfers pace was slow so we did the front nine over so we could do 18 before dark
Hemet Golf Club
The price was great, the course was in fair condition they were reseeding a lot of areas. Thought the pace was a little slow.
Hemet Golf Club has a very nice layout. The staff could not be nicer. Fairways, like many courses this time of year, are dry but the greens are in excellent shape. They are deceivingly fast. Tremendous value. The Canadians have arrived for their winter migration so this course and many in the area are busy before noon. Hemet Golf Club has internet specials and are on GolfNow.com. Regular rates are very reasonable.
The staff was friendly and stayed busy. The greens were in great shape. The driving range was ok at best. The course layout was fun. Unfortunately, it seemed that on every green I was repaired at least 3-5 divots left behind by earlier play. The pace was awesome. No one ahead of us and no one trailing us. 31/2 hours to play. I will return.
Nice course no surprises very straight forward. I had a good time got bunched up on a few holes but kept a good place overall. Will definitely come back.
I always enjoy playing this course. Today the pace of play was pretty good. The conditions were very good, greens were in good condition and challenging
The golf course is in good condition.
Even though its location is in the low desert, im still impressed with the maintenance on the course...
I'll play there again...
Enjoyed the course. Fairways and greens were in decent shape. Plenty of grass on the fairways. The design is really enjoyable and fun to play. Definatly worth the money. I will be back.
Helmet Golf Course
The condition of the course was average and pace of play on a Saturday was painfully slow! If they had Marshalls on the course it would help. Only saving grace is that it was cheap!
Tarnished Jewel of a Course
A great Curly/Schmitt design that has been allowed to deteriorate in maintenance and upkeep. It's sad.
The greens are great for the most part, large and smooth and fairly fast. Tee box to green however reflect neglect, lack of money, or just poor management.
Fairway cuts are erratic, rough is mix of whatever, no sand in the sand traps(just hard dirt). This could be an excellent track with the proper care.
Winding among the houses lining the fairway(they don't intrude and are hardly noticeable) landing areas are usually defined by large fairway traps, as are the greens. A few lakes also contribute to the overall visual(although one of them was practically dry).
Told by one employee that the water bill was $40K a month, in my opinion that could be cut by 25% or more just by doing some simple landscape changes(more desert scape, less grass around tee boxes and between tees and fairways, along the fairways. Spend a 100K to save 10K a month forever.
Great Shape all around
The course looks wonderful and the staff are so accommodating and friendly!! We had a great day.
Good course! Staff needs to work on friendliness.
