Excellent service under 100 degree
We always enjoy their unexpected service, they give us iced towel every serveral holes. We don't feel the hot weather there. Also the condition of tee box, fairway, and green are under good condition. We highly recommend to enjoy golfzing here
The corse has potential. With a lot of work and upgrades.
Very dissatisfied on the condition of the coarse for the price had to pay. Don't plan on playing here again. I have played way better courses for a lot less and didn't have to drive for an hour. The operation is even run out of portable trailers. This would all be acceptable if they wher reasonable on their rates maybe $30-$35v

Excellent course with great value
Excellent course with great value for the weekend.
The green is firmed. Fairway is in good shape especially in this time of the year. Weather was little hot during noon hour.

Bad service, Bad course
Course is too dry. Customer service is awful. Would recommend else where.

Slow pace of play/unfriendly marshal
Pace of play is always slow at roddy. Best thing to do is just relax and go with it. Groups ahead, can't go anywhere. Then marshal comes up and tells us to pick up the pace. The guy did not have a clue. Anyway 5 hour round!!!!!

In need of some rain....
This course has some great potential, but is suffering from lack of water just as most of CA. The bunkers were in terrible shape the day I played, and the fairways were sparse in a lot of areas. You can see where they must allow the rough surrounding the fairways to die, but some of the fairways are in rough shape too. Play winter rules and move your ball around to get some grass.

Great Course for the Value
The course was in really good shape considering the hot conditions and the drought situation. The greens were rolling really nice. Surprisingly slower then I imagined. Course has some challenging tee shots with amazing views. Tough to get up and down. Would def come back. Booked tee time through golfnow for $15 bucks can't beat that.

Nice Course
Nice course, great views but the cart path only on #18 just about killed us...Fairway slopes left so every shot rolls that way and cart path is on right side.

Bad experience
Our cart died on the 14th hole and the pro shop was closed. We had to carry our golf bags (tour bags I may add) to the parking lot on a very hilly course. They had a tournament earlier that day and they fumbled the ball and gave us a cart that wasn't fully charged. Also, I couldn't help but think what would've happened if it was an emergency? Bite by a snake, cart capsized, heart attack or anything...
Thank you for advising us of the challenges you faced during your recent visit with us; I apologize for any frustrations you experienced. Our golf cars are designed for a minimum of 2 rounds, however, being mechanical, parts can occasionally fail regardless of the preventative maintenance we perform on each of them. If you remember your cart number I would love to be able to help prevent this from occurring in the future.
Should there be anything you need during future visits, the golf shop phone number can be found on the red, full length sticker that crosses the front windshield (also shows 911 for medical emergencies). If no one answers at our golf shop, we have a 24 hour answering service who will reach out directly to either myself or our General Manager in a case such as yours, so we are always in a position to assist in the most immediate manner possible.
Please rest easy regarding any additional complications or emergencies. We have certified CPR/AED trained personnel, mobile first aid and AED, we are well versed in the closest locations for anti-venom and their current in-stock situation, and our course is never left unattended if someone is still inside the gates of our facility. Safety is our number one concern for our Guests.

Roddy Ranch
Great Course for the price. Payed 23 bucks total from GolfNow as a single. Not many people on the course, but when I got to a group, they always let me play through. It was really windy so I lost a few balls in the tall grass when I hit errant shots. The only complaint I have is that most of the bunkers were rock hard, but for the price, I'll take it any day.

Different Course Views
This was a first time playing on this course, the views were very different than your normal course. This course is in an area of pasture land, wild wheat etc. The weather was bad the day we played, I would go back and give it another try.
If you love COWBOY/GIRL, you will LOVE Roddy Ranch.
Roddy Ranch is a challenging Cowgirl/boy course! I love the atmosphere, and the wide spaciousness of the views. This course is not for the weak of heart....it has alot of slope in the fairways AND greens. I absolutely LOVE this course.

Good Course
The course was great but it was CRAZY windy. Staff was really friendly and helpful. I recommend the course to all levels.

Left 4:00PM on 12th hole, teed off at 11:50.
left course after 12th hole. backed up 3 groups on each tee and took over 3.5hours to play front 9. Play is not well managed at this course. I will not be back

Great course, poor management
Course in great condition, especially in light of our drought. But here are few things I did not like to see or expect. 1) I saw only one snack/drink cart on course and it passed us by on the 3rd hole; never to be seen again. No wonder my group brought their own. 2) After 17 holes of play, I was tired; but to make the 18th, Par 5 a "cart path only" was a joke! 3) When are they ever going to build a permanent clubhouse? Do you realize how unprofessional it looks to have temp modular buildings as your clubhouse and even worse the Maintainence facilities might as well be barns. 4)I was a single and asked to wait to get on cart with the other single. I can appreciate that you trying to "fill" the carts; but it looked and felt ridiculous as I was standing around waiting, that new ready to go carts were lining up in front of me, i counted 12 unused carts. This is a plus to me since I play as a single the majority of the time and at times, I cannot complete my round; and this course is not a front 9/get snack at clubhouse break/back 9 layout; I have to ask the person driving cart to take me all the way back to parking lot. This also brings back the point of where is the beverage cart when you really need it?? Overall I love the course and challenge; but the way its ran is getting old and is a major disappoinment to others I have golfed with that travel far to play Roddy

Course was okay for the deal, but they had a tourney in front of us and that slowed the pace of play....5+ hour round is rediculous !!

Roddy Ranch Golf Course for advanced golfers
Roddy Ranch is a challenging golf course. Huge par fours and fives. If you wanna hit the long drives this place will do. It has many hazards and bunkers..I recommend it.
