Chans revenge is that you have to tee it up in a barren wasteland. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

It's your "lucky day" at #12, advance up 150 yards from the tee, making this par 5 a poor excuse for a par 4, but do not pass go and do not collect 200 dollars Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

On #4 the bunker, the fairway, the greenside rough have combined forces to become one super bunker. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

Fun course
I like this course, but the difficult holes slow the pace with people looking for balls. As with most courses in Colorado, they need sand in the bunkers.
Good, fun, challenging course.
Fun Course
After reading a few reviews I was a little worried about our round however I have completely changed my view.. The day was wonderful and I played one of my best rounds. This doesn't look like "poor course management" rather than some heat and mower stress. Spoke with the manager after my round who was very apologetic and also explained the circumstances and different aspects that came into play. Overall my experience was great and they are expecting a quick course recovery! I would definitely recommend this course. Beautiful views and friendly helpful staff.
Conditions Decline
The green and tee condition have fallen off badly since late spring. DC has always had some thin spots on the sloped portions of the greens but this has spread to much of the surface along with other damage. Same situation with the tees. Also some management issues like dry or non- working ball washers and tee blocks often placed on the wrong set of tees.
Poor Conditions and Slow Pace of Play
No course management to increase pace of play. Got through 14 holes in 4 hours and 15 minutes, on pace for another hour to finish the round. Left early due to frustration, only to see that a group a hole ahead of us was two holes behind the next group. Waited 5 minutes to tee off on every hole. Slow pace of play ruined any enjoyment.
Course had been over watered as greens were in very poor condition and very soft - when walking it would indent the green.
Pools of water in nearly every bunker. Overall, very sloppy conditions.
Beat
The course was beat up. The greens had dead patches on them, ball marks all over the place. Patches in the fairways were under repair. There were groups with the radio blaring behind us. The greens are close to the next tee boxes, no trees or natural dividers, so you just have to watch constantly and prepare for someone to yell or scream in your back swing.
Saying that, this is not a bad course. Just not a $50 course ($70 if you are riding).
Good Course Gone Bad
Bad condition all around. Several greens had significant damage and ere not enjoyable to putt on. Tee boxes were in bad shape and needed to be plugged, sanded and seeded. Bunkers had very little sand in them with large rocks. Course was dried out and brown...its a real shame they are not putting more effort into what is a very good course. Was really not happy with the conditions given the $70.00 price tag. There are many other cheaper courses in Denver that are in far better condition.
Ashamed
This course should really be ashamed of themselves the way its kept up. Rock hard bunkers, tee boxes were horrible, green were even worse, almost every area of the course looked up kept. Worst I have seen in Colorado this summer.
Nice Course set up but bad everything else.
I like the way the course is laid out but there are absolutely no directions. There is no signage to guide you to your next hole. I spent more time driving around course then enjoying myself. Greens are in good condition but fairways are all burnt. It is definitely not a course I would spent more then $25 to play.
Poor Conditions - Poor Service
All of the tee boxes were in bad shape, had to tee off 5 yards or more just to get a decent place to tee off from. The fairways and greens had bad burn spots where there was no grass at all, just mud. The staff cleaned the carts with Armerall, including the steering wheel so I had to clean my hands of the grease each time I got out of the cart to hit a shot. The seat was so slippery and the terrain is steep in placess that I almost fell out of the cart because of the slippery, freshly armer all applied to the seats. When I brought this to the attention of the pro shop, they were indifferent and were not interested at all on my comments. This course is a great layout and has been subject to several poor owners. It could be a top 25 course in Colorado if they took better care of it and treated their guests more kindly.
Disapointed
course is overpriced!...fairways very dry, some greens have burned out sections and tee boxes not maintained. many courses near by that in much better condition and less money.....
Great shape
Course was in great shape, but the pace of play was slow. We were the 4th group off and there was a delay on every tee box. Having said that, the course was in great shape and fun to play.
great day
course in excellent condition, fast greens
Challenging short course
The course is not overly long and rather requires accuracy with your clubs as it is quite narrow in places. Specifically the front 9 is nestled into tight fairways. Losing the ball right (waist deep weeds) or left (weeds and an interstate) mean a lost ball. It opens up more on the back 9, but still has a few challenging fairways where placement is much more important than length. If you can't hit a straight ball this course may frustrate you.
Sand traps were very hard (it had rained all night and a little in the morning). I am sure the rain didn't help, but I can't see these traps being much better dry.
The course was very wet in a few areas (pooling water) after rains the previous night.
Those nitpicks aside, I would golf there again on a dryer day.
deer creek
you can see in some areas having a tough time keeping it green some over water areas some just plain dry. love the course not worth the 70 during prime time but if you can get for 50 or less i recommend playing it. greens are soft but slow. bunkers are in really bad shape hard as a rock
Good
Fun course not to expensive on Golf Now but not cart girl on the entire course and all water stations were empty. Tee boxes were really beat up greens were nice. Disappointed on people's attire that was allowed on the course made the course look like a cheap par 3 (gym shorts and tee shirts) seen all day
Nice track
My wife and I played Deet Creek for the first time and really enjoyed the course. The fairways and greens were in great shape. It was hard to hold a green with shots that didn't come in from the moon but once I got that I scored better. We both liked the way the holes were laid out and women that played the forward tees get a huge break. From the golf tees the forced carries looked intimidating, but didn't present a problem. All in all a great day of golf.
Worth the drive
I like this track.... Don't slice it or you'll put up high numbers
Play This Course!
I absolutely loved this course! We had such a great time and the course is in amazing condition. Made my tee time for the wrong day and the Manager was more than accommodating and the whole staff was so helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone who is up for a bit of a challenge.
Great Deal
Got to play on Sunday & it was very enjoyable. The course provides a good challenge but is still enjoyable. It's a secret golf gem... especially when u can get it at a Hot deal...
