Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Club
About
Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Club is nestled within a peaceful residential community, but the course is open to the public. Located in southeastern Denver on the border of Arapahoe and Douglas Counties, the golf course offers stunning views of the Rockies from nearly every hole. Arthur Hills designed the course, crafting a traditional links layout that has appeal for players of all skill levels. There are some challenges in store with more than 60 strategically placed bunkers and several lakes coming into play. The rolling terrain also provides a variety of elevation changes in addition to the incredible mountain views. The challenges of the golf course are nicely balanced by wide, accommodating fairways. The dramatic setting coupled with the interesting layout has built Heritage Eagle Bend's reputation as one of the best places to play golf in Colorado.

Good Course
The course is a good challenge. A lot of bunkers and water out there. The course was in great shape. Good deal for the price I paid on golfnow. The food in the clubhouse wasn't very good...especially for the price.
There are very few level lies.
A very nice course that gets lots of play.
Maybe I am just unlucky on this course, but the people I have played with here seem to not know the rules of the game and have no knowledge of golf etiquette.
Beware of public shotguns!!!
Were not told our tee time was for a "public" shotgun. It took us FIVE hours to play. Played a few holes twice and still waited on the next tee box!!! NEVER saw a Marshall after the third hole. Very nice course but no course is worth a FIVE hour round. There were empty holes behind us and yet two groups on our hole to start. A little more coordination and attentive marshalls and it would have been a fine day. If your tee time is at 7:30 find out if you are in a shotgun. If you are I'd advise cancelling and finding an alternate course!!
Started Great w Birdie
Was a great start birdied first hole par par on next...... Then the rain started.....so off to the 19th hole for pitchers and lunch.
Will be back w rain check real soon.
Golf Now
Staff and course are awesome. Golf Now double booked our time but the golf course let us play. Thank you. Golf Now blew it!!!!!
Awesome course
Course very well designed great layout and greens were all in great shape ! Definitely would play the course again
Great Course to test your skills
Nice course but must be ready for up & down hill shots... was slow due to very slow group in front!
Great Course!
I have played this course several times, and I am never disappointed. The course is well manicured and the entire staff is very friendly. One of my first choices when looking for a tee time.
Great course
Very beautiful well maintained course. Did not feel rushed at all. Joined up with a twosome mid way through. Only thing I would say is that there was a dissappointing selection of food/snacks on the course and the beer was much more expensive then other courses, $5 for a 12oz can of Coors....
I paid $4 for a 16 oz at Heather Ridge.
Great Course
First time I played there. Usually it is too expensive, but I was able to use Golf Now discount. Unfortunately I only had time to play the front 9, but I really liked the course and will definitely go back sometime.
Tough but Beautiful
It's been years since we played this course, so we had no course knowledge which made many holes a lot harder that they needed to be. They did not have GPS on carts and no map of the course on the cards, so everything was blind. However the course is in great shape.
Good course. Good design
Interesting holes and greens were rolling great. Staff is friendly and informative. Played in less than 4 hours as marshalls do a nice job of keeping pace of play
Thank goodness for the wind...
played here on Sunday, 90+ degrees but, thank goodness for the wind to keep it cool.
Great layout but, firm greens made you adjust your game accordingly.
Heritage Eagle Bend Golf and Country Club
The course was in very good shape and challenging. Consider using your 3-wood instead of driver for hole less than 400 yards.
If you hit a ball into the native area, don't expect to find it, though you will most likely find some OPBs.
eagle bend
Really nice course very well kept - great views and easy access to Denver south. Nice views, great hilly greens, loads of fun.
Nice Course , but .......
Really a nice course, but they had just punched and sanded the greens. This would have been nice to know before we hit the 1st green, thus my low overall rating. I do look forward to coming back when the greens are in shape.
Great Course / Challenging
Drove over an hour to get there and was well worth it. The greens are tough enough when you are not familiar with them. Having them recently punched did not help.
You will enjoy this course very much. Have fun
A Country Club Feel Without the Country Club Price
Heritage Eagle Bend has become my favorite place to practice and play. The staff is great! The course is more challenging than one might expect. And the conditions are always very good (granted when I played they had just aerated so...).
Easter not the best time to play
Was not warned that the course was aerated before booking the round, greens were in horrible shape. Easter brunch was happening at the course, so there was no food service available. No drink carts were on the course, nor was there water coolers. Only reason the round of golf was not rated lower was due to the hot deal offered, which made the normal $70 round $35 per person, with cart.
