Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Club is nestled within a peaceful residential community, but the course is open to the public. Located in southeastern Denver on the border of Arapahoe and Douglas Counties, the golf course offers stunning views of the Rockies from nearly every hole. Arthur Hills designed the course, crafting a traditional links layout that has appeal for players of all skill levels. There are some challenges in store with more than 60 strategically placed bunkers and several lakes coming into play. The rolling terrain also provides a variety of elevation changes in addition to the incredible mountain views. The challenges of the golf course are nicely balanced by wide, accommodating fairways. The dramatic setting coupled with the interesting layout has built Heritage Eagle Bend's reputation as one of the best places to play golf in Colorado.

No flat lies,
I enjoy playing this course. It can offer a good challenge if you want it. Pick your tee box and hold on for a rolling ride. The fairways only give up a flat lie once in awhile. The greens were in great shape as well as the fairways. If you get off the fairway, prepare for a lie in deep grass. Great course and it will be as challenging or as easy as you make it!

Course personal have no clue
Only played 9 holes after we were told that we had to be off the course by 5PM for some kind of event. Turns out, when i spoke to the pro shop, that this only applied for the frond nine. I had already put my clubs away. They offered another round to which i told them i had no interest. Golf is supposed to be fun, not full of issues. I would not play there again under any condition.

Horrible golf carts
The course was nice, I didn't find it too be overly challenging but it still had a few difficult spots. The worst part about the day was the golf cart. The weather took a turn for the worse on the 13 hole so I decided to head back to the clubhouse. The golf cart started dying and coming up the final few holes took forever. I didn't think I was going to make it anywhere close to the clubhouse before it died. The cart died just before I reached the clubhouse and one of the course employees noticed and gave me a lift. Still pretty annoying to have to inch toward the clubhouse in the rain.

Heritage Eagle Bend (HEB) is a very nice course. I got my tee time from GolfNow. The GolfNow site did not alert me to the fact that HEB had punched and sanded the greens...hence the 3-star "Average" rating. The rest of the course was in nice shape. When busy, HEB needs marshals on the course. Over 4.5 hours riding...on a weekday...is just wrong...and it was MY playing partners that made it slow. Overall, very good value for a really nice course. I will play again.
Fun course
Course was challenging and fun conditions were dry but greens held fine.
Eagle Bend
Early season 18 hole round so grass not greened up yet. Greens look like they will come in nicely this year. Fun to play with bunkers well-placed to provide some options off the tee.
Heritage is top notch
Course is already in great condition. Greens are running true and consistent. Excited for the real season to hit the course.
Can't Complain - Golf on 12/27!
For a round of golf in the middle of winter, this was an excellent experience. The weather was awesome (almost 70), but they had us start on the back 9 because it got earlier sun. Other than the ground on most of the tee boxes being frozen (couldn't get the tees in), the course was in great condition for the 27th of December. The course was fairly challenging. Lots of bunkers and quite hilly. If you didn't hit the fairways, there was a good chance you may not find your ball due to the natural Colorado grasses. We went through quite a few balls! Play was quite slow on the first 9 (almost 3-hours) but was much faster on the 2nd since it was cooling off and groups were bailing! We stuck it out and just barely pulled up to the 9th green just as dark was setting in.
This is a beautiful course and I am looking forward to playing it when everything is lush and green!

Meh.
I'm not super picky about golf courses, but I like to think you get what you pay for and this one wasn't in great shape. $44 is too expensive for a round at this course, especially when I played at a nicer course the day before for 1/2 the price (hot deal). And, they sent me out ALONE on a Sunday...so it wasn't exactly quick. If your just trying to hack it around on a weekend this place might be ok. If you want something a little nice for a family or work event I would look elsewhere.
Playable but challenging
Nice combination of holes you can par & ones where a bogey is a victory. Nice wide fairways but lots of trouble for wayward shots. Had a great time playing!
Nice Course
Played a round yesterday, great weather, course was in excellent shape, all around nice time. The round took about 5 and a half hours and it was mostly because a group of employees jumped on in front of us at the turn and slowed things way down. It was really poor taste and I'm surprised the starter allowed it. Also, no GPS on the carts which is silly for this nice of a course.
Fun Course
So they have a unique way of punching the course. Does not interfere with golf game and as a matter of fact, playingsame course again today.
Good value
Quality value for a nice age restricted club. Great pace of play for an afternoon round. Staff was friendly and cordial.
