Westridge Golf Club
About
Situated on the northwest corner of Lake Winnebago, Westridge Golf Club in Neenah enjoys a landscape of lush rolling hills dotted with mature trees. The peaceful setting makes it hard to believe that Milwaukee is only an hour north and Green Bay just an hour south. The links layout tumbles across a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Golfers should be prepared for some uneven lies but the golf course is quite player friendly overall. It is a layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels since it is challenging without being overly punishing. There are bunkers strategically placed throughout the course but perhaps the more imposing threat is the abundance of water. Fourteen holes on the golf course incorporate water hazards.

Westridge
Nice course pretty open links style but with enough trouble to keep you paying attention
Poor customer service
If I am to pay $50 for 18 holes including cart I do NOT want to clean the cart of cigarette butts, trash and beer cans. That cart should be spotless before it is issued. I do not want to pay that amount to look at weeds in flower beds, mud in fairways or bathrooms that are not clean or have NO hand toweling.
Furthermore I should not get feedback from the employee that the owner is not interested in customer feedback regarding the golf experience. I am not interested in their excuse that they can't keep employees. I paid my greens fees in good faith of a good product and fair treatment. I received neither!!! I will never golf at WESTRIDGE again.
Birdies on course and in air
Wouldn’t drive that far w/o the deal from TeeOff. My second time daughter’s first. It was fun to caddie her around and watch her drop a couple birds. Fairways and greens always in good shape. Bonus, I got to see several WWII planes buzzing around in advance of the air show this week.
Decent Course, not well maintained, dirty golf carts
Got a hot deal and golfed this course. It’s actually a nice course layout with some nice variety of easy and difficult holes. The problem is the lack of care to the course and the golf carts. Literally almost every golf cart had old beer or soda bottles in it. Mine wouldn’t start without kicking the pedal at least 5-6 times and after hitting one of the million holes on the paths, the whole seat and back popped up and off. It’s such a shame. I would have loved the course if it wasn’t for the crappy cart and the lack of proper maintenance to the paths. Someone needs to clean the golf carts out. Was disgusting to a first time golfer at the club.
going home hungry
The course was OK but this is not the place to go if you’re expecting even a bratt at the turn around. No food to serve the hungry golfers. Very disappointing. Time to spend a little more money and get a cook. I won’t be back
Staff Is Awesome! Front 9 Greens Need Some TLC
Staff was great! The on site manager in particular. Great guy. Awesome layout, water on plenty of holes, well groomed sand. Only complaint is that the front 9 greens were filled with ball marks and one green had a dead spot. I will never understand people who do not repair ball marks.
Bartender
Played a round with my sons! What a blast! Thanks to the bartender, she was awesome!
Course condition - Westridge.
The play was horrible slow. 3 groups waiting on tee boxes. Finally found out a 5 some was a head with people who don’t know how to golf. The course was in very bad condition. You couldn’t putt descent because the greens were in very bad shape.
Pleasant Surprise
I stumbled upon this course while looking for new options in the Fox Valley. I was pleasantly surprised to find a course that offered a lot of different holes that kept you on your toes and made you think about how aggressive you wanted to be off the tee. The course was in decent conditions with greens that were alright, but there was just enough present to make it an enjoyable round. The biggest complaint was that the pace of play was pretty slow as it seemed they cram as many groups as they can on the course. There was a backup on the first tee and it never really let up through the entire round. Hoping to play there again, but perhaps sometime other than a Saturday morning.
Quaint but rushed
I am not a great golfer. I may take a little longer. I shouldn't feel rushed by over booking and cramming as many groups on the course as possible.
Cluster
I made a tee time for two with a cart and 18 holes to play this course for the first time in at least 6 years today on golfnow.com. Waiting in line to check in at the pro shop, a couple ahead of me asked for two carts for themselves and two boys about 10-13 even though the boys supposedly weren't playing (they did starting at the first tee). The problem was there were no carts but that was unacceptable to the couple. After a wait of about 10 minutes they found two carts. Since we were 25 minutes early they asked us to come back at our tee time which I did. Twenty five minutes later still no golf cart for us and we had to wait. Even though the course was booked, the pro shop allowed two separate walk-ons. After a 25 minute wait past my tee time, I had had enough. Even though they're booked, they allow walk-ons and golfers who didn't pay while reservations are not honored. There also wasn't a Starter or rangers on the course for the day and perhaps that would have helped control pace with the 8 golfers playing together. FYI, when a golf cart was returned, there wasn't anyone to remove beverages from the previous golfers and clean the cart. That didn't make me feel comfortable. BTW, the course couldn't issue a refund to me because it was a goflnow booking. I did get a certificate to return but would have rather received my money back because I really don't want to return. I understand Father's Day is a big day for any golf course but there is no excuse not to honor reservations, have equipment for each reservation and have adequate staff to ensure a quality golf experience.
Westridge GC
Check out Westridge. in Neenah WI. Course has been renovated in recent years. Nice layout. Great conditions fairway to green. Soft fairways allowing for solid ball contact. Nice layout. A really nice course design that is good to walk as well as ride.
