This course is a shame
Redmond Ridge used to be a fun course with some highlight holes… now the conditioning is so bad everything else is obscured. Charging 90 bucks for this place is larceny. Fuzzy, bumpy greens, beat up fairways, just poorly maintained. Would not play here until they either get new management.
Good course with a few frustrating holes
If you like the occasional blind shot over a cliff or blind tee shot on a dogleg left, then a few of the holes will be up your alley. Mostly pretty straightforward and fair course though. Greens were in good shape and never had a bad patch. Can punish you at times for being slightly off the fairway. It rained the day we played so greens were grabby and slow but a reasonable price for the course.
Better than the previous reviews
The course was in much better shape than the previous reviews shared. The greens were slow but the day had some early rain. The course doesn't play long but the layout is fun. There are some water holes (hole 3 has three water shots in play), some through the woods, some elevation changes, etc. Bunkers were overly packed but somewhat expected. It's a good time for a very reasonable price.
Poor Course Conditions
Course conditions are poor. Aerification, sanding, reseeding, MORE WATER needed.
Disappointed
Very disappointed in the condition of the coarse. This coarse sells itself as a country club type facility that is open to the public. The restaurant range and staff are great and the views and layout are very good. Unfortunately the conditions were poor for a municipal coarse, fairways were half baked out grass, 75% hard as a rock and 25% soggy or muddy. There were multiple bunkers that were unkempt with grass growing in them. The greens were shaggy, running slow maybe an 8 and bumpy. Bellevue and Snohomish greens are much faster and consistent. Definitely not worth the $.
Redmond Ridge
I played Redmond Ridge with buddies and was very disappointed on how the course was looking.. Several fairways needing repair, sand traps with no sand and grass growing in traps and overall a total neglect. The course in the past was a must play but not anymore. The pace of play was also terrible so much so I had to call the Marshall to move things along. Sad to see such a good course in the past in such bad shape.
Exceptional
Challenging fun course, friendly staff
Sunny day for golf
Course is not my favorite but fairways were okay for this time of year. Greens were very bumpy but not terrible.
Disappointed
I was very disappointed with this course. For the money ($90), I expected much more. No GPS and not even yardage books available in the clubhouse. The fairways had a lot of dead spots. The water hazards looked like third stage waste water catch basins and the sand traps, especially on the back nine, were loaded with weeds and total hard pack. Most of the tees had a lot of dead spots and previous digits never filled to grow back. It's too bad the course isn't maintained better. It has a nice layout, with lots of elevation changes and the views of the Cascades were spectacular. The greens were in great shape but overall very disappointing.
The Green's
Some narrow fairways, I like all of the par3's but the greens need to be rolled more aften and some are in need of better care. Player's that are looking for there lost ball cause the back ups! (Guilty)
We appreciate the constructive feedback as we understand there is always room for improvement. And thank you for recommending our course to other PNW golfers!
Rough shape
Historically holes get backed up easily at Redmond Ridge, and pace of play is slow. In late summer, this course is in really poor shape; the fairways were extremely dry and even spots where the ground had cracks from being dried out. The greens were in decent shape. For a $95 green’s fee, Redmond Ridge is now worth the price tag.
Subdivision golf; worst hole ever designed
The course was a fairly nice layout and in very good condition but I am not a fan of courses built in neighborhoods. Most every hole was lined by homes and this ruins the golf experience for me. #13 is probably the the most ridiculous golf hole I've ever played! Fortunately, #14 is very nice so there is a nice bounce-back.
The course itself is fun and I used most of the clubs in my bag. It was in very good condition the day I played.
Very friendly folks working at the course and decent practice range with plenty of grass tees and some mats.
Fairly easy walk except for the grunt from 15th green to the 16th tee.
My least favorite of the Oki courses, by far.
nice course overall but not an overly affordable choice
Nice course conditions every time I've played. A few unique holes. Can be challenging at times.
Thank you for your feedback!
