Elevated Tees on Back 9
My husband and I enjoy this course. Good mix between the front and back 9. We enjoy the back 9 a little more with the views and elevated tees. Pace was great, especially with it being a holiday weekend. Highly recommend it. We always stop at Muddy Waters in Prescott on our way back to the cities. Good food, drinks and patio.
Amazing track
The value here is unreal, as are the views and overall layout
Great Course & Value
Friendly staff, good price, and great pace of play. All the reasons why Summit is a regular stop on my summer and fall golf outings.
Great Value & Pace of Play
Summit is worth the drive to play a 3 hour round of 18 holes for a reasonable price!
Shoul Play The Yellows
I really like this course. Sadly, but fortunately for me, I basically had the course to myself. Most of it in very good shape. The back nine is very challenging, especially from the white tees. A real variety of hole types. My game doesn't do it justice but I'll be back.
It was supposed to be $60 for two 18holes
I ended up paying $131
Back 9 is unfair
I have always hated the back nine on this golf course and they’ve done little to make it a more fair layout. Holes 13-15 are absurd to the average golfer.
Great Course Friendly Staff Short on Gas
I’ve plated this course many many times for a number of years. Very challenging, well maintained. Fun to play. Now requires you must share a cart, with someone you know or not.
I thought course was not in the best of shape.
Tee boxes were rock hard, tough to get a tee in the ground.
Grass off of fairway was tall and had so many dandelions that it was hard to find my ball.
Many greens look like winter kill or a fungus.
Fairways were probably the best part.
I have played this course many times over the years.
I will wait a month or so and come back and see how it is then.
The reason I answered “no” to if you would refer to a friend is I would not at this time.
Nice course, has character
Some wide open holes, some very narrow tee shots, fast greens. Course was in very good shape. I really enjoyed playing at this course, however I shot my highest score in many years. But i would definitely like to play it again. Wouldn't recommend this course for beginners. They do have a separate par 3, 9 hole course...looks nice, but didn't play it.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! And thanks for the insight on Muddy Waters, people are always asking for a good place to stop!
